Year Purchased: 2000
Owners Dan and Charlotte Crouch purchased this property 9 years ago. It had been in 2 sister's family for 53 years, before the lake was ever put in. They owned over 100 acres that was sold to the adjoining new subdivision and kept the peninsula (the best part for the family). They loved the property and wanted to sell it to someone who loved it just as much. We lived here for 7 years and had 3 of our 6 children here. As the family grew, the house shrank. Reluctantly, we moved into town to a bigger home. We wanted to keep the property and let others see why we love it so much. ENJOY! You will fall in love with it too!

We have stayed in this house two times and we would like to come back again! It is such a hit with the whole family. They talked about it all year and couldn't wait to go back the 2nd time. You cannot beat the house, the grounds, and the lake view. So quiet and relaxing. We love the covered porches and outdoor furniture. We've travelled quite a bit and can tell you that this house is well cared for and has everything you need to be comfortable and to have such a relaxing time. Thank you Charlotte and Dan :)

Our sorority alumnae group held its 6th annual girls camp here and had a wonderful experience. The beds are very comfortable, the scenery beautiful and we all felt such at ease no one wanted to go home when our long weekend was over. I highly recommend.

We spent three days at Chardans Villa and had a great time! We have rented many vacation homes and this one was, by far, the best yet! It has everything you could possibly want to feel at home. It is beautifully decorated and has an incredible view! I cannot say enough good things about the home and the owners! I cannot wait to go back..
