This is a beautifully-appointed vacation spot in the newly developed “Lake Shore Cottages” community. This lovely cottage boasts lots of living space and a terrific open floor plan, perfect for entertaining and gathering friends and family. Ideally situated on the west side of Red Arrow Highway, the cottage is a charming 7-block stroll to the beach. The kitchen, dining and living areas all feature vaulted ceilings and windows throughout, creating optimal light and space. The cottage sleeps eight to ten comfortably. The master features a king-sized bed; another bedroom, queen bed; the third, bunk beds and another set of twin beds. In addition the open-air loft area has a twin daybed with twin trundle bed. A portable crib is also available to renters.
Additional amenities include a wood-burning fireplace, screened-in porch, outdoor utility shower, iPod stereo system and access to the Community Pool and Club House (a fully outfitted facility, including large game room with fireplace, office, full kitchen; heated pool open starting Memorial Day (May) thru Columbus Day (October); membership exclusive to owners, guests and renters).
Located in Union Pier about 70 miles from Chicago (3 miles up the road from New Buffalo, Michigan), a popular weekend destination to escape the busy city pace. Amtrack services Chicago to New Buffalo, for those who'd rather do without a car. The quintessential location any time of year. Seasonal blueberry, peach and apple picking; restaurants, seasonal farmer's market and antique shops a short walk away. Nearby several notable wineries boasting dramatic vistas provide a fun, easy excursion during your stay.

The Waterstone Cottage is truly a relaxing place to stay. The location is perfect-west of Red Arrow Highway, walking distance to the public beaches. The community pool is truly a gem, being heated it stays open Memorial Day thru Columbus Day.
