This is the perfect beach house for a larger family - or several couples.
The heart of the house is the large, comfortable living room with such character - lovely inviting sofas to sink into, flat screen TV with cable and DVD, well stocked bookcase and like all the rooms, stunning views of the beach. There is even a dining room area with a large, round dining table.
Then there's the big kitchen where you can cook up some great meals - there's lots of room for several cooks at one time if you dare! It is so well stocked with everything you need and has a large round table for family meals.
There is a huge bedroom with a "California " king size four poster bed and 2 additional twin beds and a second TV - and there's still lots of room besides. It also have a very small bathroom with toilet, vanity and shower. Kids of all ages love this room.
On the other side of the living room is a second bedroom with a double bed , windows to two sides and a desk overlooking the ocean. There is WIFI and also a land line phone for local calls.
A laundry room with washer and dryer are also on this floor.
The second floor boasts 2 bedrooms - the Master suite with a queen bed and French doors that open on to a beautiful newly built deck overlooking the ocean plus a newly remodeled bathroom en suite, complete with Jacuzzi tub and separate glass shower - very tastefully modernized.
The second bedroom also has a queen bed, high ceilings and also has French doors leading out to the ocean front deck - with the doors open you get lovely ocean breezes.
You can fall asleep to the sound of the waves on the sand below your window. There are ceiling fans in all the rooms, and the house also has central heat and air with individual climate controls on each floor.
There is a covered patio area outside the living room with the gas BBQ, picnic table and some additional seating - great place to escape from the summer sun, and enjoy the breezes.
You will love the ambience and cosiness that this unique cabin offers, along with the space and comfort for a group of up to 10 people.
We leave our books, CD player, gas BBQ, beach chairs and loungers, and even some boogie boards and kids toys - it's all there for your enjoyment. We are really proud of our family vacation home and look forward to welcoming you and your family. We hope you will love it as much as we do, and become repeat renters at our cabin.

Enjoy sunrises right from the deck overlooking the ocean - walk the deserted beach and marvel at the dolphins playing in the surf, and the long lines of pelicans flying overhead. Search for those hard-to-find shark's teeth - and then in the evening return to the deck and watch the sky turn pink and making the ocean also appear pink, as the sun slowly sets - another magical day has ended on our little corner of Paradise.

We had such a wonderful family vacation at your home. We absolutely loved waking up and being able to open the bedroom doors out onto the deck and have the ocean right there! We hope to enjoy this again soon. It was really nice as well to have the boogie boards to use and the kids toys right there. It really feels like a home away from home.

Just spent a week at the log cabin and it was everything we expected!!! It was AWESOME....very clean and comfortable. The location was great, very quiet and we had everything that we needed from Boogie boards to a very well supplied kitchen.. the view from the upstairs deck was great....the customer service from Rhona was excellent..she checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed...close to downtown historic Fernadina and would recommend the Crab Trap for a wonderful meal..Sandy bottoms is within walking distance on the beach and has great food and entertainment ..we will def. be back!!!!!

Great character house right on the beach. We rented for two weeks and had a wonderful time. Will certainly be back. The log house is so cool, with lots of space. It feels really like someones home, not just "another rental", there are even photos of the owners and lots of quality books left on the shelves. Great views up and down the beach from the deck. We laid in bed and listened to the waves breaking on the beach below - very romantic ! Great Jacuzzi tub as well. No HBO on the TV though.

I just returned from here, from a weeks vacation. The beaches were pristine!! And that's coming from a girl who lives and has grown up on Clearwater Beach!! The house is huge there were 9 of us there and there was still room to spare! Clean, log cabin feature on interior too, grout between logs on inside, its white so that makes it look a little tacky
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers.
