UNIT SIZE AND QUALITY: ****(4 Stars). This 540 square foot condominium is located on the first floor of Expedition Station. It is ideally located on the northside of the building and faces the mountains and ski slopes. You will enjoy these views from the living room, bedroom, and balcony. The master bedroom features a queen sized bed and TV with cable.
The living room will comfortably seat 4 people and features a beautiful, gas fireplace, TV with DVD/VHS player, and a Sony CD player to listen to music. The full kitchen has all of the essentials you will need to cook a meal away from home. The owners have purchased items that many condos do not have including a crockpot, blender, coffee maker, and toaster. There is also free Wi-Fi and a free ethernet connection if your computer is not equipped with Wi-Fi capability.
VIEWS **** (4 Stars) This condo has many windows that will allow you to enjoy the mountain views from the living room and bedroom. From the balcony, you will enjoy views of the mountains, as well as views of the skiers coming down Dercum Mountain.
PROXIMITY TO ACTIVITIES ***** (4 Stars) It is a 2 minute walk to the heart of River Run Village where you will find excellent businesses including restaurants, shopping, bars, winter and summer sports rentals and great people watching. It is approximately 200 yards to the new, high-speed, eight person gondola. If you wish to explore other parts of Summit County (e.g. Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillon, Silverthorne), the free Summit Stage shuttle picks up in front of the building.
BUILDING QUALITY & AMENITIES ****(5 Stars) Expedition Station was completed in the late 90’s and is one of the more exclusive buildings in the resort. The building features two, high-speed elevators that service 91 condominiums. There is an access controlled underground heated garage. Laundry facilities are located on both the first and third floor. Expedition Station has a beautiful lobby with couches, fireplace, pool table, and game tables. This building also features a year-round heated pool , an eight person hot tub, fitness center, and a steam room for guests’ enjoyment.
Special services that we offer include fast check-in service. We send you keycards in the mail, so you can drive directly into the private parking garage and immediately enter your condo. Additionally, we are constantly looking for discounts and great deals for vacationers. We provide our guests extensive information about the area, great places to eat, discounts on equipment rentals, discounts on lift tickets and other information that we believe will help make your stay most enjoyable.
In the unlikely event of a problem, we offer 24 hour maintenance service and lockout service. Our company goal is to maximize our clients economic returns by exceeding guest expectations so that you will think of us first when you want to reserve your next vacation. FEES & TAXES
We are required by law to charge tax on your stay.
Our cleaning fee is approximately 10% to 20% lower than most others. We keep the rate as low as possible, but it is a real and legitimate fee that everyone has to pay. You either pay for it in the rate, or you pay for it separately.
WE DO NOT CHARGE THE 5.9% RESORT FEE! This is a fictitious fee that many people/companies charge to add to their profit. If you rent from Keystone Resort or many of the other companies in the area, you will be charged this fee.
Just to be clear, taxes and cleaning fees are not included in the posted rates.

Why the Owner Chose River Run, Expedition Station
River Run Village is the newest area of Keystone and festivals and events are just a short walk away from Expedition Station. It is walking distance (150 yards) to the new, high-speed gondola, and the building has free heated parking under the building. When I am staying here, I don't have to drive anywhere. Everything I need is just a short walk from the condo.

This property is professionally managed for the owner by Summit County Mountain Retreats. If you find a comparable condo that is priced lower than ours, upon verification, we will beat the deal you found by $5 per night. To be fair, we must make an apples to apples comparison. We are guest oriented, and we offer the following when you rent with us: flexible check-in and out times, you don't have to check-in anywhere because we mail you your keycards, parking pass, and detailed driving directions before you leave home, a generous supply of towels and an initial supply of consumables for your stay. We are also only minutes from the resort if you need assistance during your stay.
