Beauty abounds from this authentic 3bed/3bath log cabin on 1 acre. There are unobstructed views of the gorgeous lake from almost every window! Views of Devils Head Mountain can also be seen from the cabin.
Elk, mule deer, fox, geese, ducks, and hummingbirds can be seen daily! You can view them from inside the cozy western motif cabin or sit outside on the second story deck and take in all the sights and sounds!
Stars abound along with meteor shower sightings from this rural setting. No pollution or lights from the city to interfere with your night views! It is incredible.
This is a laid back area that is dog and children friendly. The lake has gold metal fishing. There are fees that apply for the fishing to keep it stocked with mountable/delectable fish! ($10 per day per adult, $5 for children 11-17, under 11 fish free) There is also a canoe and kayak available for guests use.
National forest is within walking distance located just down the road. 4 wheeling is permissible there. Colorado Springs is 40 minutes away and Denver is approx 90 minutes away! There are many day trips that can be taken from this location, for example: Breckenridge, Leadville, Independence Pass, Pikes Peak, Canyon City, Twin Lakes, Red Rocks Outdoor concerts.
The cabin features a great room filled with comfy furniture, a gas log stove, a flat screen TV, a Boze stereo, along with windows galore to take in the views! The rustic dining area contains a log dining set and is surrounded with windows to enhance the great lake views. There is also a family room with a full bath on the lower level providing room for guests/family to spread out!
The bedrooms feature 2 queen sized beds and one double bed. Two of the bedrooms have antique beds with amazing views of the lake from them! This rental is a class act in the mountain town of Divide.
If there is a gambler in your group, the quaint western town of Cripple Creek is within 30 minutes of the cabin. There you will find restaurants,shops and great views of the Sangre De Cristo mountain range.
There is a grocery store, gas station, liquer store and bar/restaurant 10 minutes away!
Enjoy a hiking path around the 35 acre lake that features incredible views of Pikes Peak (See Picture). You will love your stay here in the Rocky Mountains and will not want to leave!

I have lived in Teller County for 6 years and feel that this particular area has the most to offer with water and mountains! It is just gorgeous! My children love visiting and staying at this cabin.
