Owner's Map of Gig Harbor
A long-time residential rental property owner, getting to design and furnish the large view home ('Above Gig Harbor' - VRBO 188445) was so much fun, I decided to also restore and decorate the adjoining cottage as a vacation rental. I am single, faculty at a small college in Tacoma, sail, hike, ski, a quilter, knitter, hand-weaver. I'm a concierge-style owner and love to meet and chat with guests (and potential guests) and answer questions or requests to facilitate your memorable stay here. I look forward to meeting you.

We have been staying at the cottage 3-4 times a year for the past two years. We go for work and pleasure and the cottage is great for both. We are able to invite clients over for drinks on the deck or just sit there by ourselves and enjoy the view of the harbor. Besides lots of places for walking in and out of Gig Harbor, I take advantage of nice days to do yoga on the deck in the open air. Heaven! You get privacy but are still very close to wonderful restaurants and shops. Go and enjoy!

Looking at the photos in this page bring back such wonderful memories of our stay! Cottage was just as described and Pat is a wonderful innkeeper. My husband,15 year old son and I ate most our meals on the deck overlooking the bay we cooked inside the well stocked kitchen. Th bed was so comfy, and it was hard to leave even after being there 7 nights. Just a wonderful little place to get away from it all but close enough to town. Thanks again for a great stay!

We just spent 4 nights at this wonderful cottage for our anniversary. It's a sweet little home away from home with everything you would need. We ate in most of the time as the kitchen was so accommodating and the outside deck was such a nice place to sit and enjoy the sun and view. I would definitely recommend this place as a perfect little retreat!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner was so helpful and kind to us, getting us settled in and checking in with us throughout our week. Although we've lived in Gig Harbor for 18 years, we needed a place to stay during remodeling. We would definitely recommend it to out-of-town guests. It's location is perfect for walking to the harbor where anything one needs could be quickly picked up.

This is a great little cottage for couples or small families (2 or fewer children). The cabin is very small as noted in the description and can only sleep 4 persons. The inside of the cabin is very well maintained and nicely decorated. The cottage is on a hill overlooking Gig Harbor with a beautiful view of the water. You can walk down to the harbor and take a stroll around to the restaurants and shops in the downtown area. The owner of the property provided good service and was available to answer our questions and concerns. In addition, she was prompt in refunding our security deposit upon our leaving. I would recommend this property for any couples or small families looking to stay in the Gig Harbor/Tacoma area.

Our family of four stayed in this lovely cottage for a week in June. We loved it!! First of all, the view is truly amazing - a lot like being in a little village on the coast of England, but better weather! From the front deck we enjoyed a glass of wine and watched the Tall Ships come into the Harbor (with binoculars). My two boys watched as deer and buck nibbled on garden yummies - wow - that was amazing to us! Pat was lovely and helpful and sweet. We had fun fun fun!
