This penthouse apartment was one of the most beautiful places we stayed on our trip to Europe. We were greeted by Giuseppe, the owner, who was so helpful. What a lovely and restful place to come back to each night after a long day of walking in Rome. I will be recommending this place to all my friends.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.

Our family was overjoyed from the moment we arrived at the apartment and were personally greeted by Giuseppe. The mix of old and new in the apartment was perfect and lent a feeling of Roman authenticity yet was very clean and updated. Our children loved the old fashion elevator and the huge terrace overlooking the city. The location of the apartment was perfect; we easily walked to every important site. Giuseppe was very kind and extremely professional. His recommendations for restaurants were exceptional. We could never have experienced such a wonderful Roma holiday staying anywhere else.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

It is difficult to put into words how delightful our stay at Guiseppe's lovely apartment in the heart of Rome truly was. From the moment of arrival at the front door on bustling Via Milano to the ancient elevator into the beautiful penthouse and onto the glorious terrace, it was an unending joy. This was our first visit to Rome, and the location of the apartment in this charming neighborhood with its many shops and restaurants, close to all the sights and transportation, could not have been better. The apartment was a safe, quiet haven away from the city, yet steps from anything we wanted. A perfect day consisted of coffee and pastry at a nearby cafe, walking to the historic landmarks, stopping at the little shops for bread and cheese and a bottle of wine, and then enjoying the warm late afternoon sun on the terrace. We were sorry to leave. Thanks for sharing this remarkable place with us, we will be back.

This penthouse is AMAZING! The location is PERFECT as you are in the heart of Rome! Giuseppe is the perfect host with his hospitality, accessibility, kindness, and charm. The apartment has an extraordinary view of Rome from its terrace. The bathroom is spacious. The kitchen is fully applianced. The living room is adorable and the bedroom is quaint. The penthouse has air conditioning (which is hard to find in Rome) and has a laptop provided for internet usage. You have everything that you need, so after experiencing the beautiful sights of Rome, why have that be the end of your day? Why not continue that surreal experience by coming home to your beautiful penthouse?! We did...and it was PERFECT!

Bravissimo! Comfortable, secure, clean, quiet. Just what you need in bustling Roma. Great host: Giuseppe is accessible, helpful and concerned about his clients. Transactions were simple and he answered all our questions promptly. The apartment is as pictures show. Tutta bella! Not like another we rented. A+: air-cond.; location (walk to Metro, ATM, favorite sites like the Spanish Steps and even Termini - the train station); patio is an oasis and we ate there most nights; wi-fi, laptop and washing machine were very helpful. Kitchen (Yes, you can make ice cubes!) and nearby fresh food markets are wonderful and a bargain. Rome tourist area restaurants are too expensive and not very good. We made picnic lunches so bring an insulated bag. Miss it already. The apartment was one of the best parts of our trip. We even entertained my Roma cousins, listened to a violin street concert and watched fireworks all from the patio. You cannot do that in a hotel room! Will rent any of Giuseppe's properties for a month next year. Feel free to email questions. Enjoy!
