This is the only direct beach front rental house available on Flyway Drive, where Kiawah’s largest ocean front estates are located. The house was originally built by Eddie Rabbitt, the prominent Nashville song writer and singer. Many of his personal details are present in the architectural features and furnishings. The beach can be reached by a private 200 foot boardwalk which opens directly onto the beautiful 10 mile beach. The beach has been named one of America’s 10 best beaches. The house is 5,600 square feet (not including exterior porches and decks), with 6 bedrooms and 6 baths.
A SPACIOUS, CASUAL AND RELAXED BEACH HOUSE, a great home for entertaining family and friends. A striking entrance hall with 3 story atrium leading to living room and screened porch overlooking the beach. The dining area adjacent to the kitchen and living room also looks out to the beach and ocean.
First floor: MASTER BEDROOM (1 King bed) is on the first floor fronting the ocean with a SECOND BEDROOM (2 twin beds). A separate billiards room is on the first floor off the entrance hall.
Second floor: THREE BEDROOMS. One bedroom has a single Queen bed facing ocean; the second bedroom has one queen size bed; the third bedroom has two double beds. On this floor we have a screened porch with a dining table and chairs facing the beach, as well as unscreened porches adjacent to each bedroom.
Third floor: There is elevator access as well as a stairway to the sixth bedroom (1 Queen bed).

Wonderful vacation home
We rented this home for a week in June for our family vacation,and had a terrific time! The house is spacious and in a fabulous part of the island. the beach is huge and not crowded at all,and it was nice having a pool right outside the door. The property was clean and well maintained,and has great views of the ocean. There is good shopping, golf, camp for kids,bike paths,and lots to do,and Charleston is only about 45 minutes away. The owner was courteous and easy to work with and the realtor,Pam Harrington Exclusives,was there to answer any questions or concerns,which was comforting to know,in case we had any problems(which we did not). I highly recommend this property.

We just spent an outstanding week at this home. It was clean, spacious and had great access to the beach, along with a wonderful pool. We have 5 children and there was plenty of space. As well, the owner was remarkably easy to rent from. This is the second property we have rented from him and we look forward to doing so again. I can't say enough good things about our experience at 139 Flyway. Thanks for the great memories.
