This house has everything the visitor to the Boston area could wish for.Easy access to the city beautiful beaches,restaurants galore,sunsets to die for,and a house and setting which is as close to perfection as our budget allowed.Check out Lanes cove beach(walk)and Rockport which has something for all the family.The local golf club is a nice test for the amateur hacker.This house and the Cape Ann area are gems and the friendliness of everybody was the icing on the cake.Go RED SOX

My kids, ages 5 and 7 and my parents spent a week here. The house had everything we needed...including plenty of toys for the kids and anythign you need for a trip to the beach. The house itself was clean, well maintained, had plenty of info and plenty of space. It was in a quiet area and convenient to just about anything. The closest beach is just a short walk. It's small but there were very few people there...it felt like our own private beach. Lynne was great about answering questions. I wold definitely recommend this property to larger families or two families vacationing together...particularly with younger kids.

The house was great, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was so much fun to dance in and the music we found in the cupboard was just the ticket. We made so many friends in the week we were in Gloucester. We loved the Tuesday night sing alongs at Camerons and the Celtic music at the Landing in Manchester by the Sea. The homeowner was great to help us with restaurants and the grocery store. We thought the scenery at Halibut Point State Park was just beautiful. We will come back to Gloucester and visit our friends.

I have nothing negative to say about this house. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to contact. The house is large, very clean, and well decorated, with a great floor plan and plenty of comfortable beds for a very reasonable price. You can see the ocean from the living room, 2 front bedrooms and the deck - beautiful sunsets! Our little daughter was thrilled to find the family room stocked with toys and books. We could have done so much more sight seeing and activities in the area, which is gorgeous, but we were content to just hang around the house and take walks to nearby Plum Cove Beach. We'll have to come back soon and actually do that schooner sailing trip!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We rented this lovely home in order to prepare for our daughter's wedding on the North Shore. We are from Florida and have no other relatives in MA. This was the most wonderfully appointed and located home that we might have hoped for. The area is magical. The views unsurpassed.
