The Tucker Inn has two separate floors that each sleep 6-8 people comfortably. Each floor has its own entrance, full bathroom and fully-stocked kitchen. By that I mean all cooking utensils and dishes are provided. I also supply coffee and a variety of teas. If you should have a larger party this property can accommodate that aspect easily. Also, it can be a cozy home for smaller parties. The home is filled with antiques and a warmly decorated atmosphere. Our guests in the past have enjoyed this. There is a front lawn that is landscaped with various perennials, lilies and roses. It looks out upon a mountain that can be filled with wildlife during the mornings and evenings. The lawn also has white whicker furniture to sit and relax whenever one might choose.

I was born and raised in the state of South Dakota and the Black Hills has always been a favorite vacation spot of mine. Loving to do mountain trails, this is a paradise, along with so many other outdoor adventures. Deadwood is an historically rich area and is mainly focused around the "Old West".
Why the Owner Chose Deadwood
I am a teacher at the local high school and developed my home into a Main Street Inn for additional income.
The Unique Benefits of this Bed & Breakfast
We are right on the "main drag" so my guests can walk to all of the casinos and tourist spots for the most part. There is also a historic trolley that can conveniently get guests around town.

Our week in the Black HIlls was wonderful. The Tucker Inn was absolutely perfect. The evening walks into the downtown of Deadwood were only two blocks. The weather was fabulous. The accomodations were perfect and the hospitality of Ms. Shirlene was exceptional. Would we return? Yes - for a month! Would we recommend the Tucker Inn to friends? Definitely. Centrally located to many of the tourist sites. RD and Toni
