This beautiful three bedroom, two bath, two-story contemporary beachfront home has an open floor plan that accommodates many guests and comfortably sleeps 8 people. You will enjoy dramatic beach and ocean views from the first floor living room, dining room, and kitchen. The 2nd floor living room has a wall of windows that are perfect for whale watching, star gazing with our telescope, and enjoying spectacular sunsets.
Exquisite Views...a wood burning stove, a piano, a large front deck overlooking an expansive, private, sandy beach, all provide the ultimate peace and relaxation. This home is very private; there are trees and greenery screening our home from our neighbors, and the division of space inside allows for guests' privacy.

Todd bought this house on his first weekend date with Kate! We fell in love with the home, and each other, and we were married in Yachats in summer the of 2009. We've shared so many memorable vacations here with family and friends; we hope that you will enjoy our home as much as we do.

Whether you're looking for a romantic beach vacation or a great family destination, the Sand Castle delivers. With free Wi-Fi, an iPod dock and home stereo system, 2 TVs, a modern and airy floor plan that provides lots of privacy and open space, a large game room, a wrap-around deck stretching out to the Pacific, and easy access to miles of private, sandy beach, the Sand Castle is a truly special hideaway on the coast. One of our favorite things about the house are the large windows, both upstairs and down, that give us a spectacular view of the ocean, day and night, on crystal clear days and as we watch dramatic storms. Close to Florence, Newport, the Oregon sand dunes, Haceta Head Lighthouse, camping, sea lion and whale watching, hiking, great tide pool beaches, special restaurants, and amazing food, there's so much to do in the vicinity if you ever decide to leave the house!

We just returned from 5 days at the Sand Castle in Yachats. It was my husband, another couple and two dogs. This home was so comfortable, had the most amazing views, and the owner was a pleasure to work with, as was the property manager, Wendy. The property is in a very private setting, and directly Ocean front, the best sunsets I have seen since Jamaica! There are two bdr upstairs, that share the bathroom, with one door adjoing the twin bedroom. The bedroom downstairs has the queen bed and bath, and the bath is also accessed from the hallway. It was so roomy and comfortable, the fireplace was a treat on the cool mornings, and the sitting area upstairs has even more breathtaking views than downstairs. There is also a brand new washer/dryer in the spacious laundry room, along with a large utility sink. The Hot tub was a must in my search for a home, and this one was perfect, you could watch the sunset while relaxing after a long day, or try the game room in the garage, brand new ping pong table and paddles, pool table, air hockey, foosball, darts, etc. There are kites to fly on the beach hanging in there as well. Kitchen was well equipped, but bring yoru own foil, baggies, and extra paper towels, otherwise everything was there ready for you. The stairs to the beach are to the left of the house, and currently leaning a little, but that's what happens in the fall/winter with the ocean waves! The owners rebuild them every spring. We had no trouble accessing the beach from the boardwalk in front of the home via the natural steps and rope tied to the deck. We have stayed at 6 homes from Neskowin to Yachats over the last two years, and would rank this one #2. You cannot get more private or amazing ocean front views for the special price the owners are giving right now on this web site. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to come back!

We truly fell in love with this house! having rented other properties down the beach this house was by far the best! We couldn't find a single thing that we didn't like! We enjoyed watching some surfers the first night and seeing some whales the next. Our family has been coming here every summer for almost 20 years and I'm sure there are many more vacations to come! Now that we've fallen in love with this house I'm sure we'll be back! Thanks so much for everything! See you soon! PS - Your game room in awesome!

We loved staying here! Our kids loved playing Risk in the loft upstairs. It was cool having two living areas. Having the bathrooms connected to two different entries was nice. It made the house feel even bigger! The house was so open! We loved the view!

What a wonderful house! I could get very used to waking up each morning and having the ocean RIGHT THERE! It was a lot of fun watching the sea as it stormed. The other wonderful thing was how spacious it is! We had it filled to maximum capacity and it never felt crowded, there were plenty of places to spend time by yourself if you felt the need. I can't wait to come back in the summer!
