Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 1997
Hello, I am Randall Malchow and have enjoyed the fabulous sport of skiing for over 40 years. While we grew up in the not-so-mountainous state of Wisconsin, we drove to Colorado many times for family ski vacations. We currently live in Music City, Nashville, Tennessee.
Why the Owner Chose Elk Run
Copper Mountain is perhaps the perfect skier's mountain. With Elk Run 7 positioned as a ski in, ski out property adjacent to the Super Bee lift, a skier can be jetted to the top of the mountain just a few minutes after leaving the unit. The view from the unit is second to none. If you enjoy golf during the off season, the Copper Mountain Golf Course is located at the bottom of the Super Bee lift, in the East Village part of the mountain.
The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
Again, first and foremost is the skiing as a ski-in ski-out property, positioned at the base of the best lift in the world. Second, are the fabulous views of the ski mountain out the living room window as well as the golf course during the summer season (just 100 ft from the 1st tee). There are great restaurants nearby in East Village as well as the Main Village via shuttle. The unit is modern, clean, luxurious, and super-maintained.

We loved our stay here over Christmas last year. It was very, very clean and comfortable. It was quiet and had ample storage for skis, equipment and cars for all 5 adults. The location was outstanding. Kate was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, hands down!

It is definitely conveniently located near the base of the Super Bee lift and Copper Station both. The view from the master bedroom could not have been better. We had all the skiing we could take and the comfort of eating in when we wanted. Had nice get time with other families and friends with kids in the evening. They have a parking space in the garage and that was nice as well.

The place was right next to the superbee lift and copper station. I have rented on many occasions up in the silverthorne area and at this Elk Run condo everything was exactly how it was promised. This place was very clean and made me feel at home. We had a very small issue with a fire alarm needing a new battery but was out of reach and the owners had it fixed within an hour -- I was very impressed! I also was impressed at how quickly the deposit was returned to me. Thanks again for the rental and hopefully I'll get up there during the ski season to rent it again!
