Property was exactly as billed. A good set-up for two families. Warm atmosphere and nice amenities. Good layout and well-stocked for a cozy week in the mountains. Pre-arrival communications were great and owners were very attentive to our requests for information. Very happy with the rental.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

This ski in ski out Park City house was excellent. We were there for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday with family. We had 8 people, and the four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms accomodated us all very nicely, as did the kitchen and front room. We had two dinners at the house -- the place was well stocked for cooking and large family dinners, and it was very nice to be able to ski home, have a quick soak in the jacuzzi, and simply relax in this fantastic home for the night. We also went out to town one night, and the ability to walk to town cannot be beat. I should also add that both the owner (Jay) and the house manager (Rick) were both incredibly responsive and helpful -- they both take a good deal of pride in the house, and in ensuring that guests to Ski Haven have a wonderful time. We all highly recommend this as a winter rental.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

3 couples who do a ski trip together every year, rented Ski Haven for a 4-day weekend. We've done a lot of house rentals in different ski locales around the country--Ski Haven is unique in offering near-ski-in-ski-out convenience that is also walking distance into downtown Park City. That's a unique combination to find. You don't even have to have a car, though we did for convenience's sake. Access to the slopes is an easy walk to the end of the street and up a short incline, then click in and go. Once you get the hang of the return route (look for the green house and make a hard right turn!) you can ski right to the end of the street. House is new-ish, comfortable and well-appointed, not huge but great for our group of 6. The house is on 3 levels, with lots of stairs since it's perched on a steep slope. Given Ski Haven's less-than-an-hour location from SLC airport, it's perfect for a short getaway.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had a wonderful ski vacation at Ski Haven - vrbo 24778. The house is amazing. It is right off the Quitting Time trail. Pop on your skies each morning and ski down to the lift. The house is so comfortable and well suited for a family. Relax by the fire each night after skiing and hit the hot tub and sauna to reinvigorate your muscles. The house is also very close to town. Walk to main street each night for dinner. Great location to the slopes and town. A true ski in and ski out. Would highly recommend Ski Haven. We will be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

First of all we were working with a top notch owner who cares about his customer and his property. I could not be happier with our experience. The home was as it was represented and fulfilled our needs and contributed to our family get together as only a tue home can do. You can tell the owner uses this property a lot and cares. Thanks for the hospitality.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed 5 nights after Christmas. The house comfortably accommodated 2 families with kids plus the grandparents. We appreciated being able to ski in and ski out with just a short walk down the street. The walk to main street is not bad going down, going back is no joke. A lot of stairs. It was nice to not have to park down there though as it can get congested. There was an easier way to walk up, bypassing some of the stairs, but we didn't discover that until our last day. For meals that we stayed in for, the kitchen was very workable and fully stocked with all of the equipment we would need. It also was very clean which is a huge plus for us. We used the ski valet that was recommended and we now will not do anything different again. It was a breeze. Jay, the owner, was very quick to answer questions before and during our stay. Overall a great stay! Hope to stay there again in the future!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our extended family of 8 stayed for Christmas 2012. While it's on the cozy side (which is to be expected in Old Town) we all had plenty of room. We enjoyed congregating in the living room with the fireplace, which was as easy as flipping a swith to ignite. We also enjoyed the hot tub after a day of skiing. It was easy to ski-in ski-out, even despite the meager snow fall. The owners were prompt in answering questions and easy to work with. I would recommend it. (And a four wheel drive vehicle is imperative for that street with any snow!)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I stayed at this house for most of the Summer through Autumn. In Park City on a long term business project, I decided to rent a house during the 'low season'. While I can't comment directly on anything ski related, I can comment on the house and location. First the house is as advertised, don't expect to be let down in any capacity; if nothing else, you will be pleasantly surprised by the finish work and the layout. Everything is very nicely appointed and you shouldn't expect, as with many rentals, to feel that this is a soulless house; no, this house has a nice mountain lodge spirit and a warm inviting feeling by-way-of a well thought-out color pallet, furnishings, and lighting. As for the layout, it’s reverse floor plan is popular on hillsides; so, while it may not be something flat-landers are used to, it makes sense having sleeping areas on the lowest level, dinning, living, deck, and kitchen areas on the main, and the two car garage on the top. The hot-tub, under a couple aspens in the nicely designed back yard, seems plenty big enough for 6-8 adults, though I never tested that estimate myself. The kitchen has a gas range and is well designed for entertaining guests; there is also a large natural gas grill on the main deck. The location of the house is on a dead-end street which is a couple flights of community stairs from the main street where all the restaurants are; to get into town you can walk down one or two flights of stairs and be there in about seven mins -- right in the heart of Main street. That said, there is no appreciable noise from the commercial areas -- so when you are in the hot tub or grilling you don't hear anything but the wind in the trees and an occasional car on a road off in the distance. Driving to the house is easy once you find it -- the first time may take you a bit as GPS systems sometimes don't get the turn onto Norfolk right; but that said, it's two minute drive from downtown. My recommendation would be to buy groceries for breakfasts and one dinner (maybe grilling meat) at Whole Foods at the Junction as you drive into town the first day, then stop by the larger liquor store (assuming you drink) at the Market, which is just as you enter Park City proper. Then head up to the house, park, unpack, have a drink of wine or make margaritas, and then head into town for dinner: High West or Silver. Overall, I can completely recommend this place to anyone wanting a wonderful mountain home away from home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Just fanatstic! We travelled from Australia for a family "White Christmas" and could not have been happier with the accommodation. Great location with the added touch being the delightful Christmas decorations. The snow was not as good as it could have been but the overall holiday experience made the trip worthwhile and did not disappoint. Jay and Grace were really helpful with the planning process and their suggestion to use the Ski Valet was spot on. So easy! Hopefully we will return again when the snow is much better. The people of Park City are just wonderful.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Three Dads, two early teen daughters and two early teen sons first trip to Park city couldnt have been better in terms of accomadations. The hot tub and Sauna are terrrrific after the long great days of skiing. We stayed in a couple of nights and enjoyed the BBQ as well. The house is very convenient for town and to walk on on off the slopes. We rented our ski's/snowboards instead of traveling with our own and ski valet makes everything a breeze Jay and Grace the homeowners were incredibly helpful and accomadative as well. A great time was had by all! ..........We will be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
