Barona Beach is a brand new resort in the beautiful Okanagan and an ideal spot for creating those perfect family vacation memories. The resort is surrounded by water and orchards on all sides. There is a kid friendly public pool and hot tub area located centrally in the complex, just off the 600 ft sandy beach, with stunning views of the lake and mountains.
The condo is a 1360 sq ft, ground floor unit located on the east side of the resort. The patio is very private with its own bbq and located immediately beside Pritchard canal with a picturesque view to the beach and lake. Here there is plentiful privacy and serenity that can provide shade and relief from the blistering heat of the late afternoon sun when necessary.
The unit has luxury furnishings throughout with a home theatre in the den, flat screen televisions in the living room, bedroom and den, stainless steel kitchen appliances, hardwood floors, granite countertops, and a washer/dryer unit within the suite. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary appliances and an island bar unit as well as a large dining table.
The master bedroom ensuite has a large shower separated from a huge soaker tub. Very comfortable luxurious mattresses and furnishings are in both bedrooms and both have IPOD compatible alarm clocks. There is a pullout sofa to a double bed in the den.
There are two parking spaces in the covered garage allocated to our unit which are only steps from our front door.
We own a boat slip complete with 10,000 lb hydraulic boat lift, suitable for a 30 ft boat and located in deep water which is available for separate rental.
Popular attractions in the Okanagan include all the water activities, golfing, biking, the Kettle Valley Steam Railway and all the wine festivals to name just a few. The festival dates are as follows: Summer Wine Festival Aug. 7-8, 2009; Fall Wine Festival Oct. 1-11,2009; Ice Wine festival Jan 20-23, 2010 and Spring Wine Festival from Apr. 29-May 8, 2010. The resort is located minutes from famous Mission Hill, Quail's Gate, Mt Boucherie, Little Straw and Rollingdale wineries.
