Jusr returned from a wonderful trip to this spectacular home. The pictures on the website don't do it justice-- it's magnificent. Tennis court, basketball court, swimming pool, right on the intracoastal-- it's a self-contained resort. The house is enormous, beautifully maintained, and totally comfortable. And the Owner (Patricia) and rental agent (Maura), as well as the "house manager" (Frank) are all incredibly gracious and helpful. We had three generations in the house, and we all had a fabulous time. The perfect spot for a family reunion, or a gathering of good friends. The security deposit was returned promptly, and everything was problem-free.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Everything was terrific! I had to fly directly to Chicago (where I still am), so I haven't had the opportunity to write and thank you for all your help (although I did call Patricia to thank her personally). Patricia was warm and welcoming, and took the time to call me before our trip as well as the day we arrived (and left us flowers and champagne, to boot). She was incredibly gracious. The house is magnificent, and exceeded our expectations in every respect. There's not a thing I could think of that would have improved the experience, and you were an enormous help in soothing whatever concerns I had (we had never rented a private home before, and it's a bit of a leap of faith). We're already looking forward to doing it again!

A Note to the Owner, from The Girls from Houston: Dear Patricia, We loved every minute of our stay - your home was everything Maura said it would be and more. We had to take turns staying in the Master Suite as it was just too fabulous for any one of us to keep all week! The size of your property and the privacy made us feel like royalty. Most of our stay was spent relaxing by the pool, some of us played lots of tennis, and we walked walked walked everywhere, which was a nice bonus. Love the beautiful beach, and of course the shopping... We even played (or attempted to play) and placed some bets at the pool table. Thank you for making our arrival and stay so easy. We had our yearly family gathering at this incredible estate. Great time had by all! Kids loved the pool table and hanging out on the dock watching the fish, we spent lots of time poolside with the great views, and walked to the beaches which are beautiful. The master bedroom is a great experience, was big enough to have it's own zip code. I loved the jacuzzi room in it but my husbands favorite was the outdoor private veranda with TV so he could be outside AND watch sports! We are not much of tennis players - but so nice to have a private court that we spent quite a bit of time on it. Housekeeping was lovely and very helpful. Next time we will take advantage of the private chef service offered. Thank you Patricia for opening your amazing home to us and the prompt refund of our security deposit, and thanks to Maura for making this rental process so easy. We highly recommend this home, and although we like to go someplace different each year, we just may have to return as this was one of our best locations yet!
