My husband and I recently stayed in this beautiful home for his birthday treat. We knew this would be a nice place but we had no idea it would be as nice as it is. This home is large, nicely decorated and immaculate! It has beautiful hardwood floors and the furniture is of the highest qualilty. We enjoyed having the front porch with the rocking chairs and also the back porch with a swing. Our time there went by much too quickly. I would definately recommend this home to anyone who appreciates a clean, well maintained, beautiful home. I talked with Bruce on three or four occasions and he was very pleasant and easy to talk to. This place is a "steal" for the price they are asking. I highly recommend.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Everything we could think of needing was provided and the cabin was immaculate. The location was perfect however we did not leave the cabin except to purchase groceries and that was just a short drive away. I would highly recommend this cabin for a family, couples or just for 2! We are more than likely to stay here again especially with it being pet friendly.

We spent the long Christmas weekend in this lovely cabin with our dog and could not have been more pleased!! I can't tell you how much we loved it! The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, secluded, quiet and very clean. The only negative.....we had to leave to return home! We are already making plans to come back! Thank you Bruce & Barbara for a wonderful experience!

Impeccably Clean and Wonderfully Equipped

We have stayed in many vacation rentals, both in the U.S. and abroad, and have never experienced a rental property so beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Whereas we usually arrive at a rental to find a half-roll of toilet paper and no paper towels or soap--and have to scurry to find an open store--we were pleasantly surprised to find that Bruce, the owner, had outfitted the cabin with everything we could possibly need. And as for the term "cabin," this is a spacious dwelling, with high ceilings and plenty of room. We were especially happy that our golden retriever was welcomed; he loved it, too! Many thanks.

Unbelieveable Home Away from Home!

We loved everything about this cabin! It is spotless, beautifully furnished, well-equipped and secluded yet convenient to whatever you need in the Helen area. We spent lots of time on the large, comfortable back porch--candelight dinners on the picnic table and morning coffee in the large swing. Owner is very responsive to questions. We would highly recommend this cabin and hope to return there again some time.

Just spent most of the week there and this cabin is very nice. Excellent furnishings, appointments and all the right touches. We really enjoyed the time there and highly suggest it if you're in the North Georgia Mountains and the Helen area.

Recently my future wife and I traveled to this property and spent Friday - Monday (May 13-16). We had such a good time exploring the srounding area. We took my 12 year old dog and, like an old pro she came in the house sniffed the air and went to lay in front of the fire place. We both live super busy life, and it was so relaxing to be away form it all and not be able to see your neighbors house, think we like that the most. We plan on returning this fall if our jobs allows us the free time. I have to say Kristi and I were both beside ourselfs upon entering, breath taking, one gets what they pay for here and more.... Bruce thanks for having us we look foward to returning.

I would like to personally say thank you for our wonderful saty. While my fiance and I have never used VRBO, my mother introduced me to it, this was the best ever! Your attention to the detail of this wonderful cabin was way more than I expected for what we paid!!! This home was clean, secluded, beautiful, the area was absolutely beautiful. This secluded place was perfect for a romantic get away! This place will be perfect for our family to come and visit! We are in our 30's, and this was very nice for us. Would be a great place for kids. It was more beautiful than in the pictures, and I see you are doing some changes...Can't wait to come back again!!! The best for me was the bathrooms! The tubs and showers were awesome! We are already thinking about coming back in the fall!!

Owner response:We are very much aware of the current economic conditions with prices increasing almost weekly on just about everything. We are doing all that we can to keep our prices as low as possible without compromising features or cleanliness. Just like everyone else is experiencing, our utilities, supplies, maintenance and cleaning costs are rising as well. However we will continue to offer our 'Special' rates as long as possible. We are especially grateful to the many (but not all) guests we have that treat our cabin like it was their own. This goes a long way to help us keep our rates attractive.

I have stayed at many VRBO listings and have never been disappointed--this was no exception! It is the most beautiful cabin I have stayed in in Helen, and was so clean and comfortable. We went for a writing retreat weekend and I will certainly go back again. There was a mishap with the internet because of a storm (the week before) and the owner came and brought us a new router! The master bathroom shower is incredible. I just can't say enough good stuff.

Words cannot express what a great time we had staying here. It was a birthday retreat from my husband to celebrate my 50th birthday. The house was clean, well maintained, beautifully and professionally decorated. Reservations were precise, easy and a pleasure to work with. I hate to brag any more as I don't want it to be booked up the next time I want to go. Loved the house, parks and town.

We can not say enough good things about this wonderful cabin. From the gorgeous hand carved mantel to the fabulous master shower and large porch with great swing. Not to mention pet friendly! Owner was great to work with and answered all questions quickly. This is a clean beautiful home that will not disappoint.

I don’t think I had a chance to tell you but “Thank you” … You’re cabin in Helen was the perfect getaway for our family. It felt just like home and we really appreciated it. My wife loved the decorations and large vaulted ceilings, I loved the spacious living room and game room (as did the kids), and we all loved the extremely comfortable beds and the Jacuzzi spa. The place is beautiful and you two have done a nice job in providing an excellent option for a family getaway. Thanks again for working with us on the price as well … again we really appreciated it and will keep you in mind for future visits.

My husband and I had a great time visiting this cabin. It was beautifully built and decorated - we never ran out of things to admire. The photos really do not do it justice. Very well-maintained and clean, plenty of towels and linens, cooking utensils and accessories. The game room was a lot of fun! The shower in the master is very cool! It's about a 10-minute drive to the Alpine Village, but traffic was heavy at times. We were disappointed in the shops in the Village, but the Country Store had everything we needed that we forgot to bring. We had a great time at Margarita's watching people tube down the river. We didn't get to visit Anna Ruby Falls due to the weather, but it's just down the road. I would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful time . The cabin is the best we have every stayed in, beautiful and quite. The pictures do not do it justice much better when you see it. Very clean, location was great min. from everything. The shops are not that great. Cute little town, but we enjoyed going into the mountains and seeing the Falls, we walked on most of the trails and it was beautiful. State Park was nice also. We didnt catch any fish but had fun trying. I would recommend this cabin to anyone it is beautiful, we enjoyed the fire every night and cooked out almost every night. If you want peace and quite and the sounds of the woods stay here. I am not good at pool but we had fun playing every day.
