  Excellent place to stay. Perfect location -- easy walk to Duval and Mallory Square yet away from the crowds. Authentic Cuban coffee and restaurants nearby. Beautifully remodelled with everything you could want for your stay. Nice poo and outdoor areal. Best for single or couple. We would stay here again.

  My husband and I had such a wonderful time at Carey's Conch Cottage. The location is perfect and the house offers all the amenities that you need! It's kept up and clean with such an adorable atmosphere. The pool in the back is the perfect place to relax and we used it every morning before we began our adventures. We were able to bike all around the town and it was so easy to get around and explore which is our favorite thing to do. Everything you need is in walking distance which made this such an easy and relaxing getaway for us! It was just what we needed and we do plan to come back again! We have told all of our friends about this great little cottage as it's just perfect for any couple who needs to get away from it all and just enjoy being together! We hope to be back soon!

  A wonderful rental. Small, but perfect for a single or couple. Recently renovated. Very nice furnishings and kitchen is fully equiped with whatever you might need. Convenient location for a walk to Duval Street and Historic Seaport; close to great restaurants so no car is needed. An added bonus is the wonderful coffee con leche and sandwiches next door at Five Brothers. I would definitely stay here again.

  My boyfriend and I needed to get away from the cold weather. We had never been to Key West, but we both had always heard great things! So we researched, and quickly found Carey's Conch Cottage. We bought our plane tickets the next day, and a couple weeks later, we found ourselves enchanted by the beauty of Key West, as well as the beautiful place we stayed. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in, plenty of space and the breeze from the backyard kept it cool while I cooked locally caught fish. On the nights where we didn't feel like cooking, we were right down the street from some of the most delicious restaurants in Key West (try Mangia Mangia for the best, fresh, homemade pasta). I have never slept so soundly in my life. The loft in the cottage is like being on your own little island, away from the noise and craziness that "real" life brings. Every morning I'd start my day with a dip in the backyard pool, and then make my way to the front porch, to drink fresh orange juice, and wave to the people walking casually up and down the street. It's easy, on those lazy nights, to find yourself lounging on the couch in the living room. Everything about the cottage was amazing. Just a really wonderful, clean, and relaxing place to stay.

  We had the most amazing stay in Key West. Our month was filled with jolly holiday fun, and quiet and relaxing nights spent on the front porch, listening to the bugs play and watching people stroll by. Every morning I enjoyed my cup of coffee and muffin in the backyard, at the outside eating area. It's a beautiful location, and a place to really relax and breathe in the fresh, tropical air.

  My husband and I rented this cottage for a month. It was our first time we ever came to Key West. We loved the town and the house. So much to do. We had rented a car but decided to return it. The location of the property was centrally located we did not need it. We were close to walk to all the restaurants or walk to a local little grocery store to buy supplies. We spent many nights just grilling in the backyard enjoying the peaceful nights at this home. We will be back for sure.

  i stayed for a month. needed a quiet place to edit my book. the back yard was a perfect place to do that. when i got hot i would jump in the pool. when i needed a break i would step outside and take a walk in the beautiful old town neighborhood. a great place for me to do my work.

  I stayed in Carey's Conch Cottage again this March, and I have booked for next March. We arrived to find the cottage had been through many upgrades during the year. The pool was resurfaced and beautiful, the window AC's were gone and a wonderful central AC system in place. A new bed with storage underneath and a wonderful and huge closet system put in the bedroom. Also a partial bath was added upstairs along with hard wood flooring. We never would have dreamed that so many upgrades would be done. I didn't think our stay could be better than last year, but it definitely was!!! There was a problem with the electrical meter on the house during our stay. The owners and property managers jumped through hoops to get the power back. They did such a good job taking care of us, and in record time, I can't say enough good things about them. As the previous year we spent alot of time in the back yard lounging and sitting or floating in the wonderful heated pool. We cooked on the very nice grill outside at least a few times a week. The cottage is in such a nice location. I loved being able to go next door for a morning paper and con leche if I didn't feel like making my own coffee. My husband went out weekly on The Tortuga and it was only a few minutes walk away to catch the boat. There are many restaurants within a block or two that you do not have to walk very far for anything. The property was again squeaky clean upon our arrival, and the kitchen well stocked with all the utensils and cookware you could ask for. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to have the best of all worlds, a cottage close to the action and still have the privacy of your own backyard and pool, or head out front and greet people passing by, it is just a wonderful place to stay.

  Our stay at Carey's Cottage could not have been better. The cottage and landscaping were all well maintained and very clean. The cottage is one bedroom with additional loft. The beds were comfortable and even though right next door is a busy Excellent Cuban Deli (Five Brothers) we did not have a problem with noise, once the windows were shut we didn't hear much of anything. The kitchen has brand new appliances and everything you could ask for to prepare meals. A large washer & dryer are located outside under a canopy, and there is also space here behind the gates to store bikes and beach chairs. The bathroom was tiled and had a huge walk in shower that was bright and sunny. The cottage has hard wood floors throughout and double doors that open to a spacious back yard with ample seating, gas grill, and a heated pool that we spent alot of our time in! The pool has a light for night time swimming also. There is sun & shade most of the day, for sunbathing or reading in the shade. We brought our cat and he loved this place. It is a short walk to the Seaport area, and only a few blocks from the center of Duval street. We had no trouble finding parking within a block of the cottage. The entertainment center contained a new HD Flat Screen TV with premium cable and there was also a small TV in the bedroom. The high-speed wireless worked perfectly. Everything was exactly how it was pictured and we cannot wait to go back. The cottage just oozes Key West Charm. We went to the Old Town Bakery, just two blocks down and sat in the rocking chairs out front with coffee in the morning, and cocktails at night and just watched the world go by. There are several great restaurants within a block of the cottage, Mangia Mangia, Michaels & Cafe Sol. You must try the cuban sandwiches next door at Five Brothers, there is good reason this is a busy place, they are delicious! The owners and management company were awesome, I had many questions and concerns before my arrival and they were patient and truly cared about the property and the people who stayed there. I can't say enough about how much we loved this place. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed. We have booked again for next year and hope to return for many more.

  Wonderful place to stay in Key West with all the amenities! Quiet neighborhood. Close to Duval Street with great shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Beaches are close. Rent a bike and see the whole island! Highly recommend.
