Four Star Condo in Silver Mill, Unit #8158
We rate all of our condos based on four criteria in order to make it easier for vacationers to compare different condos in different buildings. The criteria are as follows: unit size and quality, views, proximity to activities and building quality and amenities.
UNIT SIZE AND QUALITY: ****(4 Stars) This lovely two bedroom, two bath condo is located on the 2nd floor of Silver Mill. It is ideally located with views of both River Run Village and the ski slopes. When there is a festival in the village, you can sit on the balcony and watch the festivities. The master bedroom features spectacular views with a king sized bed, private bathroom and TV with DVD player. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, TV with DVD/VHS player and views as well, and the second full bathroom is adjacent to this room. The living room will comfortably seat 4 people and has a gas fireplace with a 40 inch flatscreen HDTV and DVD player. Your family will also enjoy the board games, cards, and puzzles in the condo, as well as the small DVD library with adult and children's movies. The dining room table will seat 4 people comfortably, and there are two additional chairs that can be brought to the table if needed. The full kitchen is well equipped for you to cook a meal away from home. Some items include plastic cups and bowls for the kids, toaster, coffee maker, and crockpot. The owners also purchased a pack-n-play in the Summer of 2009 for young families to use. There is no need to carry another item and pay to bring your own pack-n-play on the plane.
VIEWS: ***** (5 Stars) From the balcony, you will enjoy views of River Run Village and Dercum Mountain, the mountain skiers take to get to the base of River Run. This views can be enjoyed from the bedrooms, living room, and balcony.
PROXIMITY TO ACTIVITIES ***** (5 Stars) Silver Mill is conveniently located in the heart of River Run Village. It is just steps from restaurants, ski rental shops, specialty shops, and Starbucks. If you are traveling with young children, the Keystone Children's Center is located on the ground floor of Silver Mill. In 2008, a new high-speed, 8 person gondola was constructed to move passengers up the mountain 40% faster. Silver Mill is now even closer than before. Walk 100 yards out of the building, and you will be there.
BUILDING QUALITY & AMENITIES ***** (5 Stars) After a long, active day, you can enjoy the many amenities that Silver Mill has to offer. The beautiful recreation room has a pool table, sitting area, and TV. Soak your tired muscles in the large 16 person hot tub, or one of the two 8 person hot tubs. Then enjoy the sauna located inside the building near the hot tubs. Silver Mill guests can also enjoy the heated pool with spectacular views of the ski slopes at neighboring Dakota Lodge.
You can park your car in the heated parking garage under the building and store your skis and/or snowboards in the ski lockers on the 1st floor. If you don't wish to carry your skis and/or snowboards back to the building you can use the VIP ski check that is available near the gondola for a small daily fee.
GUEST SERVICES: This unit is professionally managed for the owner by Summit County Mountain Retreats. We are the most guest oriented and down to earth company in the area. It is our goal for you to have a worry free stay and enable you to interact with caring and competent people who want your vacation to be all it can be. Special services that we offer include fast check-in service, flexible check-in and out times, a generous amount of towels during your stay, trash bags, toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom), dishwashing detergent and liquid, sponge for washing dishes, trial sized soap and shampoo. We send you keycards in the mail, so you can drive directly into the private parking garage and immediately enter your condo. Additionally, we are constantly looking for discounts and great deals for vacationers. We provide our guests extensive information about the area, great places to eat, discounts on equipment rentals, discounts on lift tickets and other information that we believe will help make your stay most enjoyable. In the unlikely event of a problem, we offer 24 hour maintenance service and lockout service. Our company goal is to maximize our client’s economic returns by exceeding guest expectations so that you will think of us first when you want to reserve your next vacation.
KEYSTONE EVENTS:
Keystone is the premier destination for various events, festivals and one-of-a-kind attractions. These include things such as Mardi Gras, Wine Festival, Beer and Blues Festival, Full Production Concerts, Discovery Days for kids, Art Shows and much more. Additionally, you can enjoy Mine Tours, Historical Bus Tour, ATV tours, Four-wheel drive tours, Snow Mobiling, Horse back riding and much more. SUMMER activies include championship golfing (2 courses in Keystone), Mountain biking, Wild Life Tours, the best hiking in North America, White-Water Rafting and Fly Fishing, just too name a few.
FEES & TAXES
We are required by law to charge tax on your stay.
Our cleaning fee is approximately 10% to 20% lower than most others. We keep the rate as low as possible, but it is a real and legitimate fee that everyone has to pay. You either pay for it in the rate, or you pay for it separately.
WE DO NOT CHARGE THE 5.9% RESORT FEE! This is a fictitious fee that many people/companies charge to add to their profit. If you rent from Keystone Resort or many of the other companies in the area, you will be charged this fee.
Just to be clear, taxes and cleaning fees are not included in the posted rates.

Why the Owner Chose River Run, Silver Mill
River Run Village is the newest area of Keystone and festivals and events are just steps away from Silver Mill. This condo allows you to see all of the festivities without leaving the condo. It is walking distance (100 yards) to the new, high-speed gondola, and the building has free heated parking under the building. When I am staying here, I don't have to drive anywhere. Everything I need is just a short walk from the condo.

This property is professionally managed for the owner by Summit County Mountain Retreats. If you find a comparable condo that is priced lower than ours, upon verification, we will beat the deal you found by $5 per night. To be fair, we must make an apples to apples comparison.
We are guest oriented, and we offer the following when you rent with us: flexible check-in and out times, you don't have to check-in anywhere because we mail you your keycards, parking pass, and detailed driving directions before you leave home, a generous supply of towels and an initial supply of consumables for your stay. We are also only minutes from the resort if you need assistance during your stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The room had everything we needed. The couches and beds were comfortable. We haven't been to Keystone for years but finally decided to come back. It was fun to see snow again. Hope to come back soon.
