Oceanside Village offers many amenities for all ages...join in a water aerobics class, do your own thing at the on-site fitness center, check out a book at the library, or play a game of tennis. The kids can bring their bikes, play basketball, volleyball, baseball, and enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools. Beach access and parking is available. Golf cart rentals available at the Oceanside Village management office.
If golf is your thing, enjoy Tupelo Bay Golf Center located adjacent to Oceanside Village on Business 17. Tupelo Bay Golf offers Putt-Putt golf, Driving range, a lighted Par 3 course, Frisbee-golf, and an 18 hole lighted Executive course. Also at Tupelo Bay you can enjoy a sandwich at the grill or ice-cream at Runaway Bay Ice Cream Parlor. You also have your choice of the many outstanding golf courses located throughout the area.
A 10 minute drive south on Business 17 brings you to Murrells Inlet (the Seafood Capital of South Carolina) offering a buffet of dining options. Dining, dancing, shopping, and shows can all be found at Broadway At The Beach, located just north on Bypass 17. Home is exactly as described and extremely clean and comfortable. Gas grill and nice screened in porch included. Linens not included. Owner and host were excellent to rent from.Oceanside Village is the best vacation neighborhood-secure, but not too restricted or regulated. All neighbors welcome vacationers. Golf cart rental available through Oceanside Village and is fun for all family members to use. Private beach is within 2 blocks-easy to walk to or use golf cart. Difficult to otherwise find parking at other beach areas in Myrtle Beach because of small-limited public parking lots. Close to golfing, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, water park, flea market and many other activiites. Home sleeps 11 people, but only provided enough dishware or utensils for 8 people. Highly recommended and reasonable price.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.
