Mary's cottage was exactly as described in the listing, but prettier. Everything you need is there, clean and well decorated. Our family stayed here for a week and really felt at home. We traveled all over PEI during the days and spent evenings relaxing at the cottage. The gardens and bird feeders add to the charm. Mary is wonderful to work with. We recommend this listing!

This charming vacation home in a tranquil country location is only minutes to wonderful Panmure Beach, shopping in Montague and farmers’ roadside vegetable stands. The tasteful and extremely well equipped house is immaculate, very comfortable and a delight for relaxing, or as a base for very easy trips across the island: we ate at the church lobster dinner in St.Annes, visited "Anne of Green Gables" in Cavendish, and attended the evening Ceilidh at the College of Pipers in Summerside - fun! Our morning coffee in the screen porch, wandering through the beautiful gardens, eating fresh free run eggs from the friendly neighbour, a quick, easy drive to Charlottown for theatre, then dinner at “Off Broadway”, and sunny afternoons on Panmure Beach made for one of our most enjoyable holidays ever! We are smitten with PEI, the Luxury Country Cottage, and have made plans to return next summer. We highly recommend this property as the experience will exceed all expectations from the website!

We absolutely loved out time spent on PEI and it was such a treat to stay in such a lovely home. If we venture back to the Island, we would stay there again in a heart beat. We felt like we were in a home away home. Fully equipped equipment and a cozy bed, we definitely felt refreshed and rejuvenated after our stay! They have created a very special retreat in PEI!

My husband and I and our golden retriever ejoyed staying in this lovely cottage. It was decorated beautifully with every convenience needed. The grounds and flowers were lovely and our dog enjoyed the spaciousness. We especially enjoyed the screened porch. The location was great for touring. Ate at "Windows on the Water" in Mongague which was very good. We were fortunate to spend Canada Day in Charlottetown which was about 40 minutes away. Mary Frances was very accomodating and her father next door treated us to some fresh eggs he had gathered that morning. There was lots of tourist information available in the cottage. We would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting that area and would love to stay there again.

We stayed at the cottage from Aug. 15-22/09 and had a wonderful week. There is lots to do in the area and in fact travelled the length of the Island. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and friendliness of everyone, especially Francis and P-2, his dog! Great golfing in the area too. Hope to visit next year!

In late June we decided to explore a different area of PEI and this house is the perfect place as a base ~ except you are reluctant to leave it it is so pleasant and quiet. Thoughtfully and completely equipped, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the surroundings. Nice to have such a dog friendly place, also.

Staying at this lovely home was one of the highlights of our first vacation on PEI. It's beautifully appointed with every amenity you could ask for, in a very secluded and tranquil location with beautiful gardens and open space surrounding it -- the number of stars and the Milky Way that were visible on a clear night were totally amazing to our jaded SF Bay Area eyes. Despite the peaceful location, it's wonderfully situated for exploring PEI, close to a beautiful beach, a winery, lighthouses, the Confederation Trail for bike riding or hiking, the national park on the north shore, on & on. Highly recommended -- hated to leave!

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay in this lovely quaint "old world" charm cottage in May. The proximity to the mostly secluded beach was a dream in itself (10min drive). My husband, being an avid golfer, particluarly loved this location. It was tranquil - exactly what we were looking for to escape from the hub of Toronto. The evenings spent on the porch with a lovely bottle of wine looking at the stars was breathtaking. We felt like it was a home away from home, especially with the wood burning stove/fireplace. The hospitality of the property mangement was a nice added touch. He brought over fresh eggs from his coop in the morning. We defintely will be making a plan to return to this place next year..perhaps even the fall ! Thanks for a great warm and welcome stay ! Michele + Chris, Toronto, Canada.

July 26th What a lovely place for a quiet, peaceful, tranquil retreat from the hectic pace of daily living. Thank you for your hospitality. The cottage is more like a home away from home. We especially liked sitting out in the screen porch to read and relax. The Panmure Island beach was amazing too. As our 7 year old said "It was awesome" Thanks again, The Cumming's Family
