This beautifully-appointed, five-plus bedroom home (three bedrooms plus den with sleep sofa in main house; one bedroom plus den with sleep sofa in guest cottage), is surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the Nantucket's central moors and is within three-five miles from town and beaches. The exceptional natural beauty of the pristine conservation land offer a lovely sense of privacy. The home offers every convenience. The living room has cathedral ceilings and a large stone fireplace. The upper balcony connects two master bedrooms suites, each with large Jacuzzi tubs, separate showers, toilets, and individual dressing areas. Each bedroom has French doors and balconies overlooking the conservation land. Adjacent to the living room on the west side of the house is the expansive kitchen and dining area. With mahogany counters, Viking range, slate fire place and large French country dining table, the room is perfect for intimate dinner parties or large gatherings. The outdoor dining area on the back deck is directly connected to the west wing and is a beautiful location for sunset cocktails and summer dining. Off the east side of the living room is a cozy den and a bedroom both with full private baths.
The adjacent guest cottage has a living room, study and full bath on the first floor. All rooms lead out to a private deck and enjoy pastoral views. There is an outdoor shower and the back deck connects to a stone patio and barbecue area off the main house. The upper level of the guest house has open ceilings and a private bedroom with a balcony.
This property is perfect for family gatherings or small business retreats. It comfortably sleeps 8 in 3 queen beds and two twins and with the addition of pull outs in the den and guest house office can sleep up to 12.
