Bright and sunny, this modern design is built around a giant mesquite tree and offers an open floor plan, lots of windows and a very comfortable living area. The bedroom is quiet and peaceful; the bathroom has a huge shower.
The terrace includes a built in grill and a panoramic view of the City and the Parroquia. Nothing is quite as beautiful as sitting on the terrace and watching the churches light up at night.
Minutes away from the San Juan de Dios Market, Colonia Independencia is known as a great and welcoming neighborhood for people from everywhere. You can walk across the street to get freshly made tortillas daily at 4 PM or 5 minutes up the street for homemade ice cream or to San Miguel's famous Tacos Don Felix, one of the most popular restaurants in town. Or you can catch a taxi or bus to anywhere.
We generally walk everywhere -so bring your walking shoes.

Now retired, we are lucky enough to live in two beautiful places - the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Our Brady Bunch family consists of 5 grown children and 13 grandchildren. Dick's a potter and sculptor; Trish is a volunteer fundraiser in the States and Mexico.
