This house has a great layout! And views galore! 2 family rooms and the view from the kitchen/living area is fantastic! Each bedroom has access to a porch and all bedrooms have nice, comfortable beds. The bathrooms are updated and very clean. The location is perfect. Beautiful beach at high and low tide. The home provides linens, towels, cleaning supplies, grill, beach chairs, deck chairs, you name it... it has it! All you need is your bathing suit! Grocery stores and ABC stores are all nearby. For those that like to shop, Morehead City and Beaufort are only 15 minutes, so shops, restaurants are all close by. For a family that wants to spend time together and also have privacy, this home beats any I have stayed in. The owners are so helpful and responsive. Many houses are not kept up well, but this one is! The kitchen is well appointed and really has a good selection of pots, pans, knives, mixers, e.g. The furniture in the dining room is really comfortable as are all the couches and deck chairs. There is a full size laundry room with great washer and dryer. And you can't beat the view even when at the kitchen sink as you can see the ocean! The home is spacious, bright and so very comfortable. For those of you who have rented before and come to find out the deck chairs are mostly broken will appreciate this house with all of its comforts and upkeep as you will find none of that with this house. The lower living room has a pool table which makes for lots of evening fun! The master bath is amazing, with separate garden tub for 2 that has a view of the beach!! Most houses on NC beaches are not really worth the money but this one is. You can rent with confidence that you will be thrilled with the home, the features, the upkeep, how clean it is and the location. I highly, highly recommend this home!

The house and the location were wonderful. The space is perfect for a large family group. We had eight adults and two children and there was more than enough room for everyone with the five bedrooms and the two living areas. No one felt like they were crowded or right on top of each other. I especially liked how all the bedrooms had queen beds – not bunk beds or singles like you find in many other homes. We cooked big family dinners each night and the kitchen was perfect with everything we needed and the grill was surprisingly very nice. The dining table was big enough to seat us all, so we were all able to dine together. The views from the house and the deck were amazing. We especially enjoyed spending evenings sitting on the rocking chairs on the deck. The hammock was another favorite of our group. During the day, the beach was never crowded – we couldn’t have asked for a better location. It was secluded but also close enough to shopping if you need to make a quick run to the grocery store. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. We definitely plan to stay here again. Great house!

My family stayed at this house the week of 6/26-7/3. There were 12 of us (plus a baby) altogether. The house is pretty big, having 2 living areas. The downstairs living area has a pool table and a wet bar. the kids thought that was great. They also have tons of games for the kids and adults to play. There are 5 bedrooms and all of them having sliding glass door that open to one of the decks. The views from both decks are fantastic. The views of the ocean are completely unobstructed from both the upper and lower decks. They have rocking chairs and lounge chairs. I drank coffee and sat in one of the rocking chairs every morning. Very nice! The house itself was very clean and orderly. The owners use a cleaning service that apparently does a vey thorough job. The kitchen is well equppied. We had everything we needed to cook for 12. Everything was in very good working order (dishwasher, washer/dryer, a/c, etc). The only problem we had was with one of the toilets. The owner had someone out there to fix it within a couple of hours of talking to her. It turned out that the spring from the toilet paper holder was in the toilet. It wasn't a big deal because there are 3 other bathrooms but the owner took care of it right away. And, to let you know, the owner and I corresponded through e-mail before we stayed there. I had tons of questions and she was very good about answering everything promptly. This area of the beach is quiet. We had very few people around us which I thought was great. Even though it is so quiet, it is only about 3 miles from a shopping center that has a grocery store, dollar store, souvenir places and even a movie theater. There are also several restaurants in that area. Everyone I was traveling with loved this house. It was perfect! If we are able to get together again next summer, we will try to rent this house again. I definitely recommend it!

loved it, the house was great. close but not too close to restaurants, etc, and very close to the aquarium, which should not be missed. house was well clean and well-stocked--grill, beach toys and equipment, kitchen supplies. we loved the view from the living/dining area, plenty of room for our family to gather and enjoy the beach from inside. so convenient to be right on the beach, nice walkway down the dunes. miss it already! we had a great time and would definitely recommend this rental.
