The wide deck with grille, umbrella table and chairs affords both gracious indoor and outdoor living ideal for honeymooners, artists, socializers, readers and snoozers. In addition a short path leads to a dramatic up front and personal overview of the marine and seabird activity of Lowell's Cove with 2 benches for comfortable observation. The broad waterfront with sandy beach and gentle incline with minimal wave action is perfect for sunbathing, kayaking, canoeing, wading or swimming for the stout of heart.
The beauty of the sparkling coast of Maine shines in and is like God's country. The 11 mile drive on Rt. 24 from Cook's Corner is simply spectacular with lobster boats, restaurants, antique shops and beautiful scenes. If you simply want to get away, sit on your own private deck or beach, and bring along your reading; sketch book, or just snooze, this is the place for you.
Come to the Nubbin and order your lobsters, wreaths or blueberry jam to enjoy all year round. Cooks Lobster House on Bailey Island is just down the road and you can take a ferry ride to Eagle Island (Admiral Peary's State Park) or a Casco Bay Nature Cruise from Cook's or book your own private charter for cruising-fishing or exploring. Your pet (limit 1) will be greeted with open arms and given a royal welcome. When you drive onto beautiful Orr's Island you will be entering one of Maine's favorite vacation spots and you will see why!
