Haus Hanika is a Bavarian designed new chalet right on the Wenatchee River only 1 mile from town and you can rent the whole chalet OR one or more of our luxury guest suites. The Chalet is decorated in a lodge theme with 3 river rock gas fireplaces. Very cozy decor, please see photos.
We have 3 luxury guest suites (two king suites and one queen suite) all with jacuzzi tubs, river rock gas fireplaces and kitchenettes. See rate details below.
If you rent the entire chalet, it includes; Full kitchen, dining, and living room all with views of the river. There are a total of 5 bedrooms which include 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, and 4 baths and can sleep up to 10 (for additional occupancy, contact owners).
Year 'round fun with summer time river rafting, golfing within four blocks, hiking and back packing, horseback riding, walking to the charming Bavarian village of Leavenworth and checking out the shops, relaxing with a book by river, or rock climbing just down the road, or go swimming in the pool in town. Winter sports of downhill skiing only 25 min. drive at Stevens Pass, cross country skiing only 1 mile away, inner tubing with rope tow at Ski Hill 5 minutes away, sleigh rides and snowshoeing close by.
Leavenworth was voted The #1 Christmas Town USA for the amazing Lighting Festival on the 1st 3 weekends of December every year. Other festivals during the year include Oktoberfest, Salmonfest, Autumn Leaf Festival, Icefest, and many others. Please check the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce website for all the events.

- Shared Kitchen: When renting the individual suites, the main kitchen can be shared and each of two suites has it's own sink, microwave, fridge, and coffee pot. The third suite has a coffee pot, fridge and microwave.
- Cooking Utensils Provided: The main kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots/pans and cutlery for preparing a gormet meal.

Whole chalet: $395 weekdays and $495 Fri and Sat nights
plus $200 refundable security deposit and one time $80 cleaning fee

Why the Owner Chose Leavenworth
There are so many diverse recreational activities right in our "back yard". Winter sports include; cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snow boarding, tubing, snow shoeing, sleigh rides and snow mobiling. Summer, spring and fall sports and fun include; rafting or tubing the Wenatchee River, rock climbing right down Icicle Road from us, golfing, horseback riding, swimming, backpacking, hiking, biking and fishing.
The Unique Benefits at this Vacation Home
We are within walking distance to downtown Leavenworth and all the festivals, shops, restaurants and activities. Also, we are one block to golfing and 1 mile to cross country skiing and horseback riding. Our guest suites are spacious and comfortable.
Owner's Map of Leavenworth
We are the owners Ted and Sandy Hanika. Ted has been a Building Consultant for many years and has also been in sales and a General Contractor. Sandy was in banking for many years and then has been a Realtor for the last 20 years. Ted was raised in Seattle and went to Blanchet High School. Sandy was raised in the Edmonds area and went to Meadowdale High School. We have moved in the last few years to Leavenworth full time and we look forward to seeing you in beautiful SUNNY Leavenworth.
