As Orange County’s premier open-air retail center, Fashion Island boasts nearly 200 specialty shops, world-class department stores and a vast array of restaurants and cafes.
Spend some time walking around this lovely island community. Enjoy the small shops and restaurants and try a frozen banana. Take the ferry for a 5 minute ride across the bay.
The half-mile long sandy beach framed by cliffs and a rock jetty forms the east entrance to Newport Harbor. Great for picnicing or just viewing the sunset from the grassy areas by Ocean Blvd.
Balboa Peninsula's beach was named one of the top ten urban beaches in the U.S. by Surfrider Magazine in 2001. The Wedge, at the ocean-side tip of Balboa Peninsula, is famous for bodysurfing.
Lido Isle, one of a handful of islands that comprise Newport Beach's harbor area, is connected by a bridge from Lido Village. Most residents own some sort of seafaring vessel.

Terry has been in real estate for 29 years. Bob is a retired educator. We were married in August 2008 and live a very active lifestyle and we are beginning to travel together. We also have eight children combined and 15 grandchildren with two on the way

Even though we're only an hour and a half from our home in S.D. it is just far enough to escape. We really love the fact that we had everything we needed and more! Purpose of trip: Vacation. We visited Disneyland, California Adventure Park, Sea World & beaches. Great central location! We had a blast enjoying the warm Cali sun. The waves were out of control & crazy.
