Why the Owner Chose Estes Park
We fell in love with Estes Park in 1969, when we honeymooned here. We bought our home here 20 years later, in 1989. Then we bought our rental 20 years later and spent several months refurbishing it the way we wanted. It is about 500 yards from our present home.

The rental home sits at 8,500 feet altitude with a clear view of the continental divide. Vacationers can enjoy whatever kind of holiday they want... solitude or a multitude of tourist activities, from horseback riding to hiking to shopping.

After growing up in Iowa, a marketing career with Caterpillar took us around the world, allowing us to live outside of the US for almost 20 years. Upon retirement, there was no question where we would spend the rest of our lives.... Estes Park, which we believe is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
