We enjoy taking family vacations with our grown children and our grandchildren. This was the perfect home for us. Everyone said when can we return? The home us spacious and well planned out. There were places to gather and places to get away for some quiet time. We had a large group including two toddlers and a four year old. Everything was well maintained and easy to use. Before going I had several questions and the owner was very pleasant and helpful about answering them and doing so in a timely manner. It is a great location for skiing and any of the many recreational activities you may plan to do. We ate at home and it was easy to use the kitchen. We loved the huge pantry and spacious storage so we could keep the extra items out of our way. Everything you may need to enjoy yourself was there. We found the home to be clean, warm, and inviting. We could have just hung out there each and everyday and enjoyed ourselves. Hopefully we will be able to return soon!

Great House, Highly Recommend

The house more than lived up to its listing description! There were lots of nice details and custom touches that made staying there extra special. These include the well-stocked kitchen, large gas fireplace, nice furniture, den/office with closing doors, quality flooring and counter finishes, and solid wood doors. All of the 3 bedroom suites have walk-in closets and comfortable bedding. The bonus room with 4 twin beds is perfect for kids. The spacious covered patio gets nice sun exposure, and has a pleasant territorial view of pine trees (and snow, this time of year). There is actually a second covered patio area with a BBQ. The house was very clean. We appreciate the owners' pet-free policy as some of our family members have allergies, and we only rent pet-free homes. We were first-time renters through VRBO, and were very pleased with the experience. The owner quickly responded to any questions we had, and had a sincere interest in making our stay enjoyable. In summary, we had a great vacation stay and rental experience and would have no reservations recommending this house to friends and family (and, in fact, already have!) We hope to return to this house, hopefully soon.

This was our first experience with VRBO and we must say that it went very well! We had planned a large family reunion in Sunriver, Oregon and had two houses rented already through the same property management company that we always use - that because they always treat us well and our experience with them is always spot on. So VRBO was unchartered waters. No complaints! Listing description right on, beautiful well equipped home and the owners were wonderful to work with. We love Sunriver and were anxious to see what Caldera Springs had to offer (a new subdivision to Sunriver). Wow! Beautiful, serene, well planned new community. We definitely give this property, the owners, VRBO and Caldera Springs a high recommendation!

This home is absolutly "top Notch", we've been renting vacation homes in the Sunriver area for over 30 years and this home was the best ever. The owners were a pleasure to work with and very agreeable to our requests. The home is beautifully appointed and totally equipped. We lacked nothing to make a great Christmas for our family, except snow. We will be looking forward to staying at this home again. It was really nice to be in the Caldera area which was a first for us, it was so close and convient to the village and lodge.

The Perfect Retreat

We were looking for a getaway spot to enjoy with friends visiting from Texas and this home exceeded our expectations. The house was impeccably clean and very well provisioned. The owners obviously take pride in their home. We had four adults and six young children and found there was plenty of room. It was conveniently located close to both the Caldera Springs clubhouse as well as the village in Sun River but also offered a feeling of seclusion. We fished, played tennis, biked and enjoyed evenings by the fire. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a superlative experience in Caldera Springs.

Fantastic Vacation Home

We recently (Memorial Weekend 2011) stayed at this vacation home in Caldera Springs. Everything was perfect, the location, gourmet kitchen, hot tub, bikes and passes to the pool. There were 4 older teen girls in our party and they thought the upstairs loft was the perfect slumber party room! On our next trip to Sunriver this will be the we will stay.

Really nice place to stay, plenty of rooms and the floor plan was really terrific, everyone having enough room to relax. Also very clean. No hassle, ever. Close to everything but also very private and cozy. Looking forward to returning next year! Highly recommend!

Mt. Bachelor Ski January Ski Trip

We were a group of 7 adults (varying ages) who wanted a relaxing, comfortable and home-like place to return to after a day of skiing and this was it! Plenty of room for privacy and yet a great gathering place. Extremely clean, well designed and so comfortable. Owners also wonderfully gracious and helpful with any and all questions. Plan to return either for another ski trip or a different season. Recommend!!

Everyone asks "When you live on Maui, where do you vacation?" Well, we stayed in Sunriver last year and Caldera this year...and were so happy with our decision! Caldera was uncrowded, easy to get around, had beautiful bike paths, and the lake with the stocked fish was perfect for my kids, as well as the outdoor fire-pits and the heated pool! This house was so comfortable, while at the same time felt like a luxury vacation. The owner was so accomodating, helpful and readily available. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

All we can say is WOW! Your home is truly amazing and we can't wait to stay again. The house was extremely clean, cozy, and inviting. The kitchen is so well equipped we had no trouble putting together all those big meals. If we all ever want to get together again, we'll absolutely consider your house. The clubhouse is wonderful! Our kids were so thrilled with the pool and grandma's love the view of the lake house. The owner was extremely professional nice, provided exceptional service and answering all my questions by e-mail or phone call. Our family trip to Sunriver and this amazing house was one of the most relaxing and fun trips we have had in years! We look forward to returning!!! Thank you!

Wonderful Vacation Home for Our Family

My sisters and I and our families rented this home in July and had one of the best vacations we've ever had. The home was beautiful with high end, comfortable furnishings throughout and a gourmet kitchen to cook in. The one level floor plan worked out great and was so easy to get around yet very private as the bedrooms are all seperated. Each bedroom was large with comfortable beds, flatscreen tv's and large private baths. The driveway had ample space for several cars and the ping pong table in the garage was used daily. All the kids had a seperate room for sleeping and gaming (XBOX) which was upstairs and over the garage - really great for when the adults wanted a little quiet. Caldera is a 5 star place to vacation -the pool was exceptional with comfortable lounge chairs with cusions, towel service, poolside food and beverage service and a infinity pool that was easy and fun for kids and adults alike. The spa like clubhouse bathrooms and Aveda products were a treat. There was tennis and golfing and rafting etc. The bike paths were jogger, biker and stroller friendly and the area is beautiful. We all will return for our family summer vactaion next year. 5 star reviews from all of us. And we were so fortunate to have met the owner of our rental while we were there and really enjoyed getting to know her a bit. A great person to rent from.

Our family has been vacationing in Sun River for over twenty years, the last two at this wonderful and amazing Caldera Springs home. Our experience simply could not have been better! It is a private, upscale, beautifully decorated and maintained property with an open, well-designed family-friendly floor plan. The bedroom suites provide a private, luxurious, adult retreat while the large kids' room upstairs is the perfect bedroom/playroom area. The incredible amenities of the entire Caldera community was a very big plus for us as well. The biking trails, lodge activities, excellent restaurant, and wonderful kids' pool truly set Caldera apart as a vacation destination. All of this, and wonderfully accessible to Sun River Village! Furthermore, in these last two years we have found the owners to be extremely helpful and accommodating, perhaps the best blend of personable and professional that we have ever encountered. For us, it all adds up to "wonderful and amazing"! We plan on returning again and again in the coming years.

Sunriver is the ultimate place to stay for any vacation. There is so much to do! We have rented many vacation homes, and by far this beautiful home in Caldera Springs was the BEST! We appreciate the privacy of the location, cleanliness of each room and the lovely décor. The lay out of the house was perfect for us, especially the bonus room which was great for our teenage girls. We enjoyed biking, hiking and the different activities at the clubhouse. Our kids were so thrilled to see deers at the backyard! We had a wonderful experience overall. This house is comfortable, beautiful, and private. We loved the different suites and the layout of the house. The great room and kitchen was fabulous for gathering, and the bedrooms were private for alone time. The owner provided exceptional service answering all my questions without any problem. Your house is one of the nicest houses we've ever stayed at! The entire house is beautiful and comfortable. We were trying to figure out where you got the bedding because it was so comfortable! My wife and I had never been in Caldera Springs before staying at your home. We both loved the pool area and amenities that are included. All of the Caldera staff was very nice and welcoming. We recently stayed 4 nights at 17 Dancing Rock Loop. The home is beautiful and we loved staying at it. The decor and bedrooms were so comfortable and classy. I was a bit nervous about staying at Caldera Springs (after 27 years of staying in Sunriver) but not anymore. We loved the entire area as well. It is so pretty and quiet (at least for now) - and we so enjoyed the pool. The owners were so nice to leave passes for the Sunriver pools but as anticipated we didn't even think to go there after using Caldera's. The bike trails and landscaping at Caldera Springs are just beautiful! The owners run a very professional business and we wouldn't hesitate renting from them again. The only suggestion I might have for the house is to add a DVD library/games/puzzles. Although the weather was beautiful (and we were outside a lot) that would be nice for the evening time.

My family (3 adults and 3 kids- 12,8,4) stayed in the house for five nights. It is a fantastic home, with high-end amenities, beautiful furnishings, and a great feel. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Caldera is a beautiful family-oriented community and a nice alternative to Sunriver itself, though close enough to Sunriver so that you can enjoy everything it has to offer too. The only drawback is that you can't play the Caldera golf course, but there are plenty of other courses nearby to play. Overall we would give this house and the experience we had there the highest possible rating.

We were so pleased with this awesome place for a vacation for our family of 6 and our friends' family of 5. There was plenty of room, things were in wonderful order, everything was spotless, and the decor was very comfortable. We had the best time and can't wait to go again! The community center was also very welcoming! We were able to hot tub there, roast hotdogs and make s'mores at the outdoor fire, play pool, shuffleboard, drink cocoa, and play games. All-around, an amazing vacation for our family. Caldera Springs was also a great place for our kids to bike. The trails were safe and fun for them. We loved this community.
