Oceanfront, 2 Bedrooms Condo Just One Block North of the Boardwalk

  This was a last minute trip and no hotels were available due to the huge Hot Rod show at the inlet. We found this condo, booked it. The transaction was so easy. The owner/agent was VERY accommodating! We hit traffic and arrived 2 hours later than expected and he bent over backwards to make sure we had no issues getting in. The condo itself was very clean and all appliances, showers, toilets, washer, dryer all worked perfectly. This condo's corner location made for a FABULOUS cross breeze that cooled the whole place. The corner balcony had amazing beach, town and bay views. Only being one block from the boardwalk was awesome! No boardwalk noise or crowds, but 2 second walk and you are on the boardwalk. The Hot Rod show made for a ton of gear heads tearing up and down the main drag. I was worried this would keep me up, but in the master bedroom(that faces the beach)we couldn't hear the street traffic at all! The only thing that could use improvement may be out of the owner/agents control. The pool was not very well maintained. But we were there for the beach so that didn't affect our stay. Also, remember to bring an iron and hairdryer. I forgot both, but since we were just beachin' it, it ends up I never needed them anyway. I would recommend for two couples or families both! Thinking of coming back same weekend next year!

In response of the pool maintenance that you came in Oct 7 after the pool was already closed by the end of the season. During the season the building has a contract with a pool maintenance company that they come on a daily bases to maintain and clean the pool.

  Our stay at this condo was amazing!! Not only was there a magnificent view, but the condo was like our own home! The furniture was tidy, comfortable, and clean. Also, the apartment was spacious and held the whole family very well. The price that we paid to rent the condo was wonderful, it gave us a break from all those bills. (washer and dryer, T.V, internet etc.) The kitchen was well equipped, and the washer and dryer in the laundry room within the unit was convenient.The owner was very nice and answered all my questions promptly. I am definately looking forward to coming back!

  Was the view great? Absolutely. However, we encountered many problems which were NOT resolved. First of all, the microwave on top of the refrigerator was to be replaced with a "new LG microwave" installed over the stove. (We were promised this in JANUARY before signing the contract.) After 3 days, the owner brought it to the unit and put it in a closet. When the washing machine broke, we were asked to stay in the unit from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, and Home Depot would call the owner (who was in Berlin) 30 min. before delivery. Excuse me; this was OUR paid vacation, and we certainly didn't want to be forced to go no farther than 30 minutes away for the day. The toilet in the master bath did not flush properly (he LOOKED at it 3 times), the sink in the same bathroom did not drain properly, the unit is filthy and we cleaned 2 of the rooms. When I confronted the owner, he told me "you pay for the view." Don't think so. NEVER AGAIN!

  We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The wrap around balcony gave not only a great view of the beach and ocean but also the city. The price was very good compared to other less spacious hotel rooms. The unit was clean and furniture was comfortable. Just remember to take your own linens, (sheets, towels). It was also nice to not be charged all those fees, (Cleaning, deposits, etc.) Watching the waves from the balcony was like a temporary oasis of rest and relaxation. If you want action the boardwalk is about one block down the beach.

  This place had the most incredible view I have ever seen in OC!! I would definatley stay here again. It was very clean and spacious. We had five adults and one child and there was plenty of room for all of us. The pictures shown were 100% accurate. The owner was very friendly and answered all my questions quickly.
