Enjoy a quiet vacation in the small fishing village of Chincoteague Island famous for its oysters, seafood, and wild ponies. Assateague View is located on the East Side of the Island across the street from Assateague Bay/Channel. Kayaks are for rent nearby and a boat launch is diagonally across from our property that has lots of room to keep your boat secure. The City Memorial Park is nearby with a basketball court, tennis courts, and playground for children. Fishing from pier is available at the park.
The house is on a large fenced yard with lots of tall loblolly pines. There are large decks on both the back and front of the house with a great view of the Assateague Light house. Large picnic table, a round table and grill are on the large back deck. Some beach chairs, clamming supplies, etc are available for guests.

OCT : 10th Annual Chilli and Chowder Cook-off. Join the competition or just enjoy the Chilli and Chowder. Call 757-336-3700 for information.
NOV 7-8: Holliday Craft Show at the Chincoteague Center. Do your Christmas shopping. Call 757-336-0614.
NOV 21-29: Assateague Island Waterfowl Week. Chincoteague National Waterfowl Refuge.
NOV 27-28: 23rd Annual Waterfowl Show--over 100 Exhibitors! Waterfowl art and hand-carved decoys by famous Chincoteague carvers.
Dec. 12: Old fashion Christmas parade on Main Street.
