This very well maintained, lovely one bedroom condo has a great view of the ocean less than 100 feet away. It is located on the third floor of the Prince Kuhio and there is no elevator in the complex. The unit is quiet and gets a wonderful ocean breeze. Let the ocean and palm trees lull you to sleep at night. This unit has been recently redecorated with new living room furniture, new king size bed, and new art work. It was recently remodeled with granite counters, new kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well as a shower with ocean view. There is a new flat screen TV in the bedroom. It comes with lots of extras like needed cooking spices, snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, etc. The complex of Prince Kuhio has been rated as a "Gem" by the Ultimate Kauai Guide Book. We are located next to the sacred park of Prince Kuhio which provides a lovely and quiet back drop to the mountains and ocean. Just yards away is the best snorkel beach on Kauai. There is a lovely pool that has both shade and sun to meet your needs. It is located in our beautiful gardens filled with rare plants. There are both gas and charcoal BBQ's with picnic tables for cook outs. A lovely new shopping and entertainment complex is just minutes away form this ideally located condo. Golf at some of the greatest golf courses in the country just down the road and walk to the island's finest restaurant across the street. Relish in the sunrise and watch the best island sunsets with surfers in the background while enjoying your favorite beverage.

Year Purchased: 2001
My husband and I live on Hood Canal near Poulsbo, WA. We are retired and have had the pleasure of owing our little piece of paradise in Kauai since 2001. My husband was a builder and I was Director of Rehab Services at a major medical center. We have used our skills in remodeling and managing to keep our unit in excellent condition to provide you with a wonderful holiday experience at a great value. We enjoy working outside, boating and of course fresh Dungeness crabbing, golf, our dog, traveling and friends. We love the hiking that Kauai has to offer and especially enjoy volunteering at the Botanical gardens just up the road. Kauai is very special to us.

We love the quiet island of Kauai and it's laid back style, beautiful beaches, and many lovely gardens. We have made many good friends there with whom we enjoy spending time. Getting away from the cold, damp winters and enjoying the beauty of Poipu' sunshine is something that we look forward to year after year. Hiking there is the best and our Friday night Bocci Ball event down on the beach can't be beat!

Our condo is beautifully decorated and has a wonderful view of the ocean just 100 yds away. We love to play golf on the affordable course of Kukiolono and Bocci ball with friends. Snorkeling with the fish, whale watching, and enjoying the Monk Seals bring lots of enjoyment. We volunteer at the Botanical Gardens just up the road to learn about the island as well as giving back to an area that gives so much to us.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Prince Kuhio Condo. Everything upon our arrival was as described and shown in the listing. The location was superb, right across the street from the beach where we were lucky to be able to watch the sea turtles swimming and monk seals sleeping on the beach, oblivious to the people around them. The condo was very comfortable, very clean , nice king size bed, cute little living room area, dining table and an adequate kitchen with pretty much everything you could need down to the spices with a great BBQ area down by the pool with 3 different BBQ's There were lots of great walking trails in the area, we even strolled down to Old Koloa Town daily for a shave ice. The owners were very helpful in answering all of our inquiries and providing good directions to the condo. At the condo were lists of their recommended places to go, shop and eat which was very helpful. If you want a great place to watch the turtles go down to the rock bridge, towards the Sheraton. We sat there for hours each night, lots and lots of turtles and a beautiful sunset too. We would definitely recommend this property for a couple, it has pretty much everything you need for a relaxing, Hawaiian stay. We would definitely stay again at this property.

The condo is wonderful, perfect for two on a honeymoon. You can see sea turtles from the lanai! The view of the ocean and the park next door are so beautiful, we spent time at both the beach and the park and often, we had them all to ourselves. We walked to snorkel, swim,eat, check out the flora and the fauna- what a fantastic 10 days. We did rent a car to see the island. Thank You for sharing your condo!
