You can't beat renting a house for your vacation. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a garage, this beats a hotel any day. However, there are some things the owners of this property could improve upon. The house is a bit worn due to its age. It could use some fresh paint, linens, pillows, and towels. The living room furniture is older and could have used a cleaning. The kitchen is fairly well equipped, but the major appliances are outdated. The frig door sticks to the freezer door and is difficult to open and close. The small appliances are OK. The barbecue outside worked well, but it could have been cleaner. The house does not have any phone service or internet to use. This makes it inconvenient to keep in touch with family members or place a call in an emergency should the need arise. All utilities including cable TV are extra over and above the rental fee. There is no grocery stores close by within walking distance. A car is needed to get around. The owners were pleasant. However, they were slow in returning the security deposit. The resort itself is mainly occupied with elderly residents but I found them very friendly. The golf course is average at best but the golf fees were reasonable. Overall, the house provided me a home base for my purpose while in Chandler. There are many other rentals available in this Resort that I would consider next time.
Owner response:We have rented this wonderful property for over 5 years with zero issues. It is a beautiful home with all the emenities that are truthfully listed in our add. The renter who wrote this review did not recieve their security deposit back because of smoke damage that occur during their stay. We have completely cleaned and repaired all damages and our home is back to being perfect. Our costs to repair damages did exceed the security deposit, but we will not take action against this individual. Our home is beautiful as seen in the recent photos that are on the VRBO website. We love to rent to great people!
