Come spend a lazy weekend or longer here at our cottage-style home on Lake Sammamish in Bellevue, WA. This home is suitable for business travelers, vacationers or when extra family are in town and you'd like to have a getaway spot for them (and you) to enjoy together.
Located in a wooded setting overlooking the lakefront, this 2,400 sf home opens to a great room with floor-to-ceiling windows and there are views from nearly every window. Lounge or fix a BBQ dinner on the large wraparound deck. Updated to offer you casual pottery barn style, this home welcomes families or couples. Comfy beds with temperpedic toppers on 3 queens. Plus we offer 2 additional twins, 2 sofabeds and portacrib. Kitchen offers all the cookware to bake or prepare a holiday meal. We supply beach towels too. If you have to work, we have a desk, hi-speed wireless access, phone and cable in the home.
Swim, fish, boat, jetski, dine or just hangout at our private dock and waterfront area. Eagles nest nearby and in summer you will often see them teach their young to dive for fish in front of our dock! The home is sited on a long lot with the house at one end and the waterfront at the other end, all located on a sloping hill so you get the benefit of a treed location and commanding view plus waterfront access. We can suggest boat/jetski rentals nearby.
Located 25 minutes drive from Seatac aiport and 9 mins. from Microsoft. Central location on the eastide is less than 15 mins. from Issaquah, Redmond or core downtown Bellevue -- and just a little over 20 mins. to Seattle. Easy access to either Hwy I90, Hwy 520 or Hwy 405 in minutes. Lisa is great to work with. We were looking for a rental while repatriating the US from China and needed a place to call home for a few weeks before we found our own house. Lisa was very helpful especially being 5000 miles and 12 time zones away - it made it so nice to have someone so organized. Even when we had some questions during our stay, Lisa was quick to respond and help. The house is laid out to keep the family togehter and allows for privacy as well since the bedrooms are seperated. We were there in the winter so we couldn't enjoy the lake other than to watch the beautiful sunrises every day. That did make our son a little stir crazy since there's no real yard to run around in, but the patio is large and there are parks and trails nearby. The house is fully stocked with everything you could need (including spices, coffee, etc) which is nice so you're not having to go buy things just to throw most of them away at the end of the week. Plus, if you do run out of some staple, the grocery store is only 15 minutes away along with other shopping. Seattle is about 25 minutes away and since the I-90 is't tolled you can go across for free vs being in Redmond and having to use the 520 bridge. Overall, this is a place I would have no issues recommending to others or renting again myself.

We had visited Lake Sammamish a couple of years ago, (we stayed at Vasa Campground) and fell in love with the area. When we found this house, we were thrilled, it was excactly what we were looking for. We needed a house to accommodate 2 families, 4 adults and 5 kids. This house provided plenty of space with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and plenty of bedlinnen and towels. The house was bigger than we had thought, looking at the photo's. It was clean, with fresh flowers and wine waiting for us. All amenities like beach, shopping, doctor's clinic are close by in Bellevue, and it is only 15 minutes from downtown Seattle. We would definately recommend this house to friends and relatives, it's a treasure! Lisa is a wonderful host, and easy to communicate with via email. Thanks so much Lisa, we hope we can come back again!

We rented this house to use as our home-base while vacationing with extended family. In the past, we've stayed at some VRBO places that either were decorated in "Early Goodwill Store" or "College Dorm" type decor. This place was absolutely beautiful AND homey. I almost expected the aroma of homebaked cookies coming from the kitchen! The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels and bed linens provided. The cable went berzerk on a major football weekend (cable company at fault) but we worked around it by going to a sports pub. And the "Driveway of Doom" as we lovingly came to call it, was an experience, but what could we expect with being perched up high with an incredible view like that! Thank you Lisa, for sharing your wonderful home with us!

My wife, two married children and four grandchildren (10 total) spent a fantastic week at Lisa's lakefront home during our daughter's wedding. The day after the wedding we hosted a family reunion for out of town guests and BBQed on the deck. We brought our boat and made great use of the dock and lakeside patio. Launching our boat and boat trailer storage was made very simple and inexpensive by the great folks at VASA Park, just a mile away. We also made use of the park for parking out of town guests' cars. The house was just as advertised, very homey and comfortable and very clean. We really appreciated all of the extras like lots of towels, extra bedding, well-stocked cupboards, cookware and utensils and laundry supplies. We loved the two separate living rooms, giving the kids a place of their own while adults could visit in quiet. The lake views are superb and the huge deck was used extensively. Lisa brought flowers and wine upon our arrival and was readily available by phone to answer questions and give advice as we settled in. Once we were settled, she left us alone to enjoy our vacation. The house got a little stuffy on warmer days but with virtually no daytime bugs we found leaving the front doors open was quite acceptable and there were several fans available. We also found it helpful to turn the central heating fan on to circulate the air in the evening. We would recommend this property to anyone for a large family retreat. It made our time together a memorable event, one to be cherished for years to come. Thanks Lisa.

I rented this property for my parents, grandparents, and siblings to stay at during a graduation ceremony in Seattle. The accommodations are wonderful. There was everything you needed in the kitchen to make yourself feel at home. The beds were comfortable and spacious. The first level bedroom was perfect for my grandparents. They didn't have to walk up any stairs and were away from the family area near the porch door. The two upstairs bedrooms were accessible by my parents and siblings. Although the stairs appear to be steep, there are railings that can assist on the way up. As long as the persons are able bodies, they should be able to get up/down the stairs. The views were beautiful. One evening we decided to bbq. The porch had a sun/rain shade, which was perfect because it began to sprinkle. Needless to say, the rain did not spoil our bbq. Oh yeah, the porch also included a grill, which cooked up the burgers perfectly. The parking situation is a bit tricky, but we managed. There are two spots right next to the house, with a third spot down by the dock. Overall, the house was perfect for my graduation party/gathering. The spaciousness of the kitchen, living room, and family room provided a little something for everyone. Whether it was watching tv in the living room, sitting on the couches listening to music in the family room, or helping yourself in the kitchen/dining room, the house has a little something for everyone.

We would highly recommend this home. As soon as we stepped in the door we saw the owner had fresh flowers on the table and felt welcomed. The owners had everything we needed to get started for a wonderful weekend. The layout is idea for a group; the bedrooms were spread out for privacy; the kitchen was stocked with everything from spices to coffee; the home was clean, organized and comfortable; and everything worked (including the cable TV with movie channels). The owner had great communication with us from setting up the reservation to contacting us after the visit. We plan to come back again for a family reunion.

We highly recommend this comfortable, tasteful and stylish home with million dollar views. This unique, double A-frame provided ample room for we three UK-based couples with 3 comfortable bedrooms and full baths, two separate living areas, spacious decking with a large gas grill , along with a roomy, well -appointed kitchen including a breakfast bar and both indoor and outdoor dining areas. The overall ambience was one of casual elegance. The place was clean and tidy with just enough wear for that comfortable home away from home feeling. We can't really imagine a better place to stay in the Seattle area, convenient to the Airport, down-town, and the eastern suburbs. Pleasant surprises included a hair dryer, hot curlers, a popcorn maker, two I-pod docking stations,and a computer printer! We hope not too many people discover this gem because we would like it to be available the next time we are in the Seattle area.

We stayed with six adults and three kids and even hosted a few large family get-togethers. The cabin is set up perfectly for a vacation spot, plenty of area to 'get away' and enough room to congregate together. Everything was very comfortable, and everything we needed was supplied. The waterfront area was great, we spent a lot of time on the deck and on the grass, and even in the water swimming. Thank you so much for the wonderful space, we had a great time!

We loved this place! We used it to the max with 11 people for 3 nights. Our second day was beautiful and sunny so we lounged on the grass and dock, enjoying the water and sky. The youngest of our crew even put on her suit and jumped in the water. The beds were fantastic and the A-frames made for a cozy feel. Great views from triangular windows. One evening we used the BBQ and one morning took a great rainforesty hike nearby. The house had the perfect feel for a vacation cabin- clean and comfortable, a little funky, spacious. Everyone could fit in one room for charades, or go off by themselves to read or nap. Little market up the street and great grocery store nearby. Very sweet.
