This is a shared living situation
I am a writer, NYC tourist guide and history buff who enjoys meeting other travelers.
The situation is as such:
You get a Queen size bed in the bedroom.
My wife and I are on the Queen size futon in the living room.
It is a shared bathroom. The Kitchen is very small.
The location is a highly secure luxury co-op building on the upper west side a block off of Broadway.
Due to the security needs of celebrity tenants in the building I, or my wife must enter the building with you at all times in order for you to be allowed in and discretion on your part is requested.
The lodging is simple and clean. We supply sheets and towels, soap, shampoo etc.
Why am I doing this?
As a poet, writer and philosopher I require multiple streams of income to survive in NYC.
The cost per night is $100 per night including tax.
I offer professional massage (I am an insured New York State Licensed Therapist) as well as private tours of the city at an additional fee if you wish to make use of these services.
No pets please.
More about the Apartment:
This is a simple plain apartment. Neat and clean but a little rough around the edges. If you are seeking luxury accommodations this is probably not for you. The kitchen is a full, functional but very small.
The neighborhood is high-end and could not be better. Very safe, one of the wealthiest areas in Manhattan (Yoko Ono wife of John Lennon of the Beatles, Demi Moore and Harrison Ford Live on the block).
Theater, museums, restaurants, shopping, public transportation all within walking distance.
Museum of Natural History, Central Park, plenty of public transportation
Very safe, even late at night. Plenty of night-life nearby. Cheap Eats and fine dining within walking distance.
Washing machine and Dryer in basement of building. 24 hour doorman - Concierge service in lobby.
