This quaint cabin is nestled in a lakeside community and only 5 minutes from historic downtown Hendersonville.
The lakeside cottage is comfortably decorated and has a large covered deck with a bistro table and swing to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. There are walking and bike trails around the lake, so feel free to bring your walking shoes and bikes or use our bikes that will be provided if requested.
Carl Sandburg's Home is just 10 minutes away. There are beautiful hiking trails with a beautiful mountain vista and a goat farm. Or you can tour the house and learn more about Carl Sandburgs history.
Historic Hendersonville has many antique shops, restaurants, golf courses, the famous Flat Rock Playhouse, and Jump off Rock where you have long distance views of 5 states and of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
Hendersonville is only 35 minutes away from the beautiful Biltmore House and Gardens built by George Vanderbilt in the early 1800's.
Asheville is just a little further from Biltmore which is a very artsy town rich in culture with lots of galleries, theaters, music and great restaurants.
The georgeous Blue Ridge Parkway is not far from Hendersonville and offers 469 miles of beautiful overlooks and walking trails. It runs from Cherokee Indian village in the Great Smoky Mts. National Park to Rock Fish Gap near Waynesboro, Va. in the Shenandoah National Park.
For those who enjoy snow skiing, there are various ski resorts in the area ranging between one to two hours away.
