This beautiful lake home is 3 years old and is only being offered for a few weeks. It is a two-story cottage with a large open floor plan on the main level, so whether you are in the kitchen, dining area, or living room, you can take part in the casual conversations while having a great view of the lake. The main level adjoins a large patio on the entire lakeside with a high canopy over much of the area so you can stay out in the rain or enjoy the sunsets over the lake. The bedrooms (queen beds) are also on the first floor and the master bedroom enjoys a big view of the lake as well. A full size and twin bed are tucked away in one of the loft areas while the other loft area has a couch, DVD and VCR player and a table for games and puzzles. Both lofts have large windows that overlook the lake. Everything in the cottage is fairly new and clean.
This is a location for a casual and relaxing vacation. North Twin Lake is 113 acres of clear water year around with sandy beaches. You will see an occasional speed boat but normally more canoes, fishing boats and small water craft. Watch the bald eagles soar and listen to the loons and whip-poor-wills. South Twin and Middle Lakes are accessible from North Twin in years when the water elevation is not too low. Some very good restaurants, golf courses and Namekagon River accesses are located within minutes of the cottage.

Year Purchased: 2006
Several years ago, we spent week-ends visiting a friend in the Minong Lakes area, and soon began to appreciate the genuine wilderness, clean lakes and "up north" atmosphere it offered. We bought the property and took 3 years to build the cottage. The assessor also seemed to like the place and we are choosing to rent the place out for a few weeks just to help offset the property tax bill. We have two grown children who use the cottage for relaxing, fishing and hunting. We simply enjoy enhancing and maintaining it at our own pace. It is always enjoyable to share it with our friends and family.
