Fully renovated in 2008 this quaint and comfortable cottage is now winterized with new windows, siding, roof and heating system to allow winter enjoyment as well as summer. A new addition includes a brand new master suite with 3-piece bathroom and patio doors onto a screened porch. Wake up each morning and enjoy expansive lake views, right from bed! The second and third bedrooms share another brand new 3-piece bathroom and the large living area has huge double patio doors onto a deck that runs along the entire front of the cottage. The front edge of the deck is close to the water allowing you to monitor young (or elderly!) swimmers from the comfort of your lounger. The large level lot is ideal for spontaneous games of soccer, volleyball etc. and makes the property easily accessible for guests of all ages and abilities.
Miles of boating are available on the 3 lakes, or enjoy a quiet paddle along the shoreline. Nearby Port Carling offers restaurants and shopping and is always abuzz with activity in the summer months. Local hiking trails and nature preserves can be enjoyed by mountain bikers and birdwatchers alike. There are dozens of top-notch golf courses in the area and many sightseeing trips and attractions can be enjoyed within a short drive.

My wife and I have cottaged in Muskoka since childhood and we continue to be drawn to the peace and tranquility of this beautiful area.

Location, Location, Location! This property is 2 hrs from Toronto just outside Port Carling, known as "The Hub of the Lakes". Many properties on the "Big 3" Lakes; Muskoka, Rosseau and Joseph are very remote and isolated. This property is the best of both worlds with serenity and privacy while being 5 minutes to amenities like shopping and restaurants.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
The easy access, single-level cottage sits a mere 30 feet from the water and has expansive lake views from the living area through the double patio doors and the large deck. The level lot and shallow beach area are unusual and sought after features in Muskoka, providing safety for all ages.
