Year Purchased: 1989
I went to South of France for business, it was supposed to be for a short time but the weather, the beautiful country side, the charming villages of the interior, the famous beaches and towns like Cannes and Nice , took my heart and I decided to buy a property here.
Why the Owner Chose Valbonne
Every one has heard of Cote d'Azur but till when you don't go and see, you cannot realize how beautiful it is. Plus I am a golfer and a tennis player and in Valbonne you are surrounded by the best Clubs of the region. And if you like bike riding , South of France is probably one of the best place for it. I like the sea and the beaches, only 15 km away, are beautiful. I like to have some social life and Cannes and Nice have plenty of it. I like restaurants and you have lots of characteristic ones in each small villages around. I love to go shopping for food and "bibelot" and there are typical "marche'" in each village during the week.
The Unique Benefits of this House
My property is set in a very peaceful flat garden. I have an incredible infinity pool with no chlorine. The dining area is right close to it , you have one outside and one inside. You can walk , 3 Km, to the Village. You are only 15 km from Cannes, 25 from center of Nice and 20 from the intercontinental airport of Nice. It is a 40 minutes ride to get to the Italian border and visit Ventimiglia, San Remo and the small villages up in the hills of the Riviera.
