Wonderful place.

Would like to thank you for your wonderful place. I have never rented a location with anywhere the amenities that you provided. Large rooms, a well equiped kitchen, lots of extras. Also “LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION”. Had a great walk on the trail around the lake and golf course. We have been going to this area for over 20 years and have never seen the colors this great. The view from this unit is out of an sales ad. We watched as the leaves fell due to the rain on Wednesday. What a treat. Pictures only begin to describe this unit. We will be back.............

A time for rest and relaxation

My husband and I were in much need of some quiet and relaxing period . We were delightfully surprised when we arrived at your townhome. The atmosphere was very inviting and encouraged us to relax. We love the stream which flowed along the side of the unit, its tranquility forced us to decompress. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming back in the spring to stay an extended amount of time.

A Week Away from Life

Getting away from it all, this Villa offered us the perfect amount of privacy, yet close enough to the restaurants and shops of Cashiers and Highlands. The screened in back porch was amazing with the sound of the waterfall in the background. Well stocked kitchen tools made preparing food easy and the free access to cable and internet allowed us to stay in touch with the real world, but only when we wanted to. We'll certianly be back !

Fabulous Reteat with great views

The Villa was much more than expected. The well appointed kitchen had everything you would need to dine-in, an excellent grocery within 3 miles and exceptional eating establishments all around. The furnishings are comfortable and in good taste (not your typical condo furnishings). Sleeping areas are seperated by levels and very private. Sound from the waterfall very relaxing at night. The view from the porch is an emaculate golf course , waterfall with a running stream and mountain vista. Great walking trail around the lake and a challenging trail up to Bald Rock. The lake is accessable for boating and swimming . A great vacation spot.

Magnificent location

My husband and I stayed at the villa for 6 weeks during July and August. It is a perfect location with the waterfall, golf course and walking trails right at your doorstep. The owner is flexible and very friendly and works to make your stay perfect. The screen porch was the best. Very friendly neighbors if you need advice or just to chat. Plenty of good restaurants and the friendliest people on earth. Thank you for sharing your mountain paradise.

Perfect in Every Way

I had not seen photos before arriving at the villa. My first impression could not have been better. It was easily accessible from the main road, but still very private with beautiful surroundings. Inside, the decor is very tasteful with a subtle mountain motif, with interesting art and furniture unlike your typical generic condo furnishings. The layout was perfect for my stay, each sleeping quarter being private but spacious. The kitchen was updated with nice appliances and beautiful cabinetry. It was well equipped with everything anyone would need for cooking and entertaining. The most outstanding feature was the large screened in back deck that offered a fantastic view. This was my first stay in the area and I would highly recommend Cashiers. I really cannot think of one negative thing to say about the villa except that my stay was too short.

Owner response:Thanks for visiting, The view from the deck is nice with views of Nix Mountain and the waterfall and creek rambling through the golf course. There is a view of the lake from the golf course!

Our visit was just the best time of "relaxing and exploring" that we have had in a long time. The porch over looking the golf course was a wonderful place to sit and read and listen to the waterfall, watch the golfers try to make it across the water, and just "be". We enjoyed the walks on nearby trail around the lake, hunting or getting the lost golf balls, and the nearby shops and close by restaurant, The Brown Trout. Thanks for the nicest vacation we have had in a long time. The Bellamys

This mountain villa is perfect! I enjoyed sitting on the porch, listening to the stream and the birds chirping. The golf course was in great shape and fun to play. (the club will loan you clubs, if needed) The villa is very clean and the description is very accurate. Thank you for a WONDERFUL week.

We spent the past weekend in this townhouse and loved it!!! We are already trying to plan a return trip. The children in our group, ages 4 and 7, enjoyed it as much as the adults. The view and the sound of the waterfall at night were both a pleasure.

Breath taking views, relaxing atmoshere, totally rejuvenating! We will need to return for another week in order to experience additional hiking trails and shopping. We highly recommend this villa because of its close driving proximity to many areas of interest. Thumbs up on this find!
