Black Diamond Properties is pleased to introduce you to our chalet. This new slope side unit is sure to accommodate you and all of your needs. With room for 14-56 people (contact for details), this ski in/ski out unit is a true value for skiers, families, business retreats, reunions, weddings, and groups that travel together. Having experienced staying in one of these units ourselves, we discovered that it made for a great vacation for everyone in our family, young and old. In the winter, those staying at the chalet can keep in touch with the ones on the mountain as they ride by the deck on the chair lift or the magic carpet. Tired skiers can come in for a break before returning to the slopes and if someone has had one too many falls they can take the rest of the day off relaxing in the comfort of the chalet rather than having to sit in a noisy ski lodge at a picnic table and wait hours for the others to finish their day. No loading or unloading the car with all the ski gear and then into a lodge to spend the night and repeat the next day. Don't forget your sleds as you have your very own private sledding slope!
In the summer, there are endless activities for the whole family to enjoy including; four wheeling, walking, hiking, site seeing, and biking amongst the wildflowers and creatures that call this area home.
If gambling is your thing, Deadwood is only a few short minutes down the hill. If you are coming for the legendary Sturgis Rally or just simply wanting to do a little sightseeing, the hills showcase countless vistas, scenic byways, and enough destinations to keep everyone in your group intrigued!

Owner's Map of Lead
Born and raised in the beautiful Black Hills, I've spent the majority of my life here enjoying (and taking for granted) what this diverse landscape has to offer. An outdoor junkie at heart made this the perfect playground for my adventurous side. After graduating from a local college, I packed up my belongings and headed for the mountains of Vail Colorado. It was here where I got my first real experience and enjoyment of ski-in, ski-out properties. After working several years for the most prestigious builder in the Vail Valley, I moved to Crested Butte Colorado to run my own construction business. I developed a true taste for fine architecture and the beauty of mountain living. In 2003 my wife and I choose to move back to were we both grew up to raise our family and get back to our roots. As fate would have it, I met my business partner, Rob, and we designed and built these 4 Chalets based on the architecture and styles of the old west.
Who would have thought that we would have such an opportunity? I still remember skiing past what is now Terry Peak Chalets as a child.
