Year Purchased: 2009
I arrived in Costa Rica late 2007 and fell in love with Guanacaste. More than Guanacaste, I fell in love with the culture and people in Matapolo. I was a builder/developer in Florida and was tired of the long hours, high stress, and red tape that I dealt with on a daily basis. It was time for a change. Arriving in Gunancaste, I realized that there was a need for a low priced "affordable" product near the beaches and close to everything. That is how Cabo Velas was born. Now, with the first phase complete, my partners and I are well on our way of completing our Puravida dream. Our company modo is work to live-don't live to work!
