When you walk into the compound of this darling cottage, you are greeted by a wonderful garden. Lots of color. Straight ahead is deck and a beautiful ocean view.
The sunroom is the first room to enter. A fountain and fica trees give a sense of peace.The room looks out into the garden with a comfortable chaize to relax on. It can also be a place to put a blown up queen mattress for 2 guests.
The kitchen and dinning rooms are combined with ocean views. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and all that is needed for any cook. A dining table is set for 8.
The step down living room has very comfortable leather couches with a view clear out to Oceanside. A 42 inch LCD TV hangs above an ample wood burning fireplace.
The 1st bedroom is a full bed with great views and a door out to a deck walk way. Ample books and a tv make it a great get a way. Across the hall is the guest bathroom with shower.
Next door is the master bedroom with a king bed and a large closet. A master bathroom with tub and shower is very modern. A door opens onto a large deck with grill and great outdoor furniture. Again, views from every angle.
A walk down a redwood stair case leds to a 3rd bedroom, under the garage, with a king size futon bed or just a day bed for a twin. Sitting area, cable tv, internet, and a full bathroom makes it a great place for an older teen, nanny, or in laws to get away from the main house.
The washer and dryer are also hooked up in a corner of that room.
Soon a jacuzzi with an ocean view will join the house for the guests' enjoyment.
The Cottage is about a mile from the grocery store and the main village of La Jolla, and about a mile from the Shore Beach.
We provide boogie boards, sand chairs, umbrella, a cooler, beach towels and sand toys.
Also, as a thank you gift - flowers and wine greet you on your first day.
