Kick off your shoes and relax in your comfortable ocean view Maui condominium. You can see the ocean from every room in your 3rd floor home. Sliding glass doors open from both the living room and the bedroom. When you step out onto the deck, Haleakala will be right there too! Settle down in the comfortable chairs on the lanai with a cool drink and enjoy both views. The quiet, central air conditioning will keep you cool and comfortable when the ocean breeze isn’t quite enough.
All the walkways overlook the beautiful atrium style gardens. Coin operated washers and dryers are located on your floor near the elevators.
Kauhale Makai is just 20 minutes from the airport and is centrally located near beaches, shops and restaurants. You are located close to many fine restaurants, some with excellent moderately priced menus. You will find a large book in the condo with sample menus and recommendations from previous guests to help you choose. Your kitchen is fully equipped with a glass-top stove with self-cleaning oven, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, new refrigerator with ice maker, and all of the dishes, pots, pans and gadgets that you’ll need to cook luscious meals if you choose to eat in. Gas barbeques are available near the pool in the central garden area. Grocery stores are located within 5 minutes of the condo. And, you will pass Costco as you leave the airport
Sleep well in a queen sized bed and wake to the ocean view. Two closets and a large dresser will more than hold all your things. Bedside tables with lamps provide plenty of light for reading. The en suite bathroom has a walk-in shower with secure grab bars and a tiled bench at one end. You’ll find plenty of towels for bath, pool, and beach.
The living room has a queen size convertible sofa and comfortable chairs with ample light for reading in the evenings. A mirrored wall brings the ocean view into all corners of the room. The flat screen cable TV, DVD player and radio/CD player to enjoy music will keep you entertained.
What will you do first? Head to the tiled pool and hot tub? The fenced pool area also includes a children’s pool with a turtle and fish mosaic. Volleyball or horseshoes anyone? Or will you try out the putting green or shuffleboard court? Equipment is available to check out at the front desk. There is also a sauna. Be sure to allow time for walks on the beach. Public tennis courts are located just south of our complex. Need a book to read? You’ll find a wide variety of novels in the credenza, as well as books on Hawaiian history, birds and flowers that may not be familiar to you. More books to borrow are located in the lobby library.
Although Maui is improving the public transportation, you will probably want to rent a car in order to see and do all the fun things the island has to offer. You have your own reserved parking spot. Phone calls to anywhere on Maui are FREE.
Pets and Smoking are not permitted within the complex. Two smoking areas furnished with lawn chairs are provided in the park between the complex and the beach. The friendly front desk is open 9 – 1 and 2 – 6, seven days a week.
