  First off, my apologies for the lateness of this review. This was our second stay in Filippo's beautiful apartment, but this time we had our daughter and her best friend along. Even with four adults, the apartment was very comfortable and spacious-my wide and I had the master bedroom, which is extremely comfortable (great bed!), and our 20-something girls got the bunkbeds, and they were very comfortable and slept like babies for the entire stay. Filippo and Christina are the perfect hosts and are always available for questions and assistance-Christina made a special trip to help us decipher the washing machine instructions, which is typical of the superb attention to their guests' needs that both Filippo and Christina provide. The surrounding neighborhood has everything required for a comfortable stay and is a nice change from the frenetic pace of the more touristy areas. We were able to get a decent wifi connection on the adjacent patio (it also worked in the second bedroom near the window), and we again enjoyed the marvelous view of the canal just outside the apartment. I can't say enough good things about this place-it is among the best lodgings we have had in any city, at any price. Grazie, Filippo e Christina-we are so fortunate to have found you and your wonderful place, and we can't wait to see you again on our next trip to your beautiful city.

  Great location situated midway between the train station and the Rialto Bridge. 20 minute walk to San Marco Square. Lots of great meal choices nearby and large supermarket very close by. Owner Filippo met and escorted us to the apartment with local advice along the way. Our family of six were well catered for in this secure and spacious apartment with private courtyard overlooking small canal. Washing machine was an added bonus. Will definitely return to this apartment when next in Venice.

  This is a lovely apartment. Christina meets you at the station and kindly takes you to the address. Everything is as suggested on the website. We are a family of four and found it very clean and comfortable. I would certainly stay here again. You can walk everywhere and it looks out onto a little canal. Happy travels.

  Exellent location, great owner, wonderful property manager and unique canal exposure from the inside and outside. We would not consider staying anywhere else in Venice when this apartment is available.

  Excellent location, quiet but close to restaurants, shops and transport.. Loved the private entrance and no steps,.Great help being escorted to the apartment..Would highly recommend staying here.Worth trying is the new vaparetto service which gives a commentary on art galleries and places of excellence Would recommend restaurant Serenissima at the entrance of the calle to the apartment for pizza and Al Fontego Dei Pescatori, Calle D'Oro for seafood..

  Four adults (two couples) spent four nights in this apartment. The listing description and photos accurately describe the apartment and the location. The apartment was very clean and well maintained - had pretty much everything we needed except for toilet paper and dish soap (which were easily picked up at the grocery store - Billa - a short walk from the apartment). Plenty of hot water in the shower for all four which was a nice surprise. Filippo is very easy to deal with in making the reservation and his friend Christina met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment. Christina is a wealth of information so have your questions ready for her! I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anybody. Our only complaint was we could not get the internet to work the whole time we were there - either inside or outside.

  Our family spent the most amazing time in this lovely centrally located apartment. It was spacious and incredibly comfortable. Although not huge there was plenty of room for our family of 6 including of 4 kids (actually aged between 13 -22). It was very clean, the kitchen was small but well equipped and we had everything we could have needed. The outside courtyard was very special. The owner was very helpful in our communications and in giving useful instructions. When my daughter left something behind in the wardrobe he kindly sent it onto her. That kind of service is a great indicator of the person you are dealing with. We got really lucky with this apartment, but then all of the reviews were good and they proved to be accurate. If you a looking for a Venice apartment rental then you can be confident that this apartment will not be a disappointment. I really hope we can return one day.

  We stayed at this apartment for 3 nights in August 2012. It was a wonderful place. The apartment was extremely spacious – two bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, and a large family room. The bathroom is very spacious and modern. The apartment has its own yard. You can leave your kids outside and play. Air conditioning was working great. You can great Internet access from the two bed rooms. Location wise it is close everything – walking distance to the train stations, supermarket, small shops. It is about 15 minutes to train station, 2 minutes to water bus. Even walking to San Marco takes only 25 minutes. It sits in a small alley off a busy street. In a matter of one minute, you can switch between excitement and tranquility. Owner is very responsive and courteous during inquiry and reservation. We did not meet the owner as they were on vacation as well. If one day I go back to visit Venice again, I would love to stay in this apartment one more time.

  Stayed for 7 days in early July. Philippo's description and photos and previous reviews describe this great apt. well. It is about a 3 minute walk from the San Marcuola vaparetto stop and 2 minutes from Ponte dell'Anconeta (Anconeta bridge) on Calle Colombina. There are a couple of changes from previous reviews. There is excellent wi-fi availability in the adjacent private courtyard, although service inside the apt. was almost non-existent. Sometimes the early morning working boats just outside the larger bedroom on a side canal woke us, but really, that is just part of the over-all Venice experience. The air conditioner managed to cope with 33-35 degree C temperatures, but barely. One of the adults in the bunk bed found it a little uncomfortable. An iron and ironing board and a second mirror in the apt. would be nice. Re transportation: we bought the one week vaporetto pass for 50 euros, and felt we got very good value with our trips to Murano, Burano, Torcello, Lido, fish market, multiple tourist sites etc.

  The Venice flat was perfect for our needs. Comfortable, spacious and in a lovely location. We particularly enjoyed the courtyard where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner. Being so close to the vaporetto stop was just the best. So grateful that the house manager met us at the entrance to water taxi and accompanied us to get settled in the flat. The flat was perfect for our group of five adults.
