Walk to the beach, to shops and to restaurants. All the action of St Jean when you want it, and total seclusion when you need it. Azu villa is very open and takes advantage of spectacular ocean views from all areas. Lounging the in the heated infinity pool with a cool drink, you will become addicted to watching the planes trying to land at the airport. The two air-conditioned bedroom suites are in a separate bungalow to the side of the main building and also have great views from their decks and their showers!

'I wanted to tell you what a wonderful stay I had at your house. I only want to be back there on your terrace relaxing. The kitchen is a cook's dream. The best of everything. Sub Zero Fridge, the best espresso machine, the best blender, and a nice layout. It is very cook friendly. The beds were, as I stated to many people "Four Seasons Quality". I love my bed and those pillows and sheets. When I took a shower and slipped into bed each night I was in heaven. Pure Bliss. My husband and I just got back from 10 days at Villa Azu. It definitely exceeded our expectations. There is so much beautiful outdoor space. The pool is really big. Definitely the nicest pool and outdoor space we've ever had at any villa we've ever rented. It's located on St. Jean within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shopping but still completely private. St. Jean has so many villas that it's hard to find one with this much privacy. The villa is very well maintained. Stephanie, the housekeeper, is really sweet and helpful. And Mary Ann, the owner, is super great to deal with. If we didn't always like trying different villas, we'd definitely go back to Villa Azu.

We have stayed in Villa Azu several times now. It is the ONLY place we want to stay. This house is just so perfect --sitting in the middle of PARADISE--but yet extremely private. The gardens that surround this villa are outstanding. Each time you study them you find something new and very different. If you are energetic, you can walk down the property through the gardens on the newly installed stone path. One of the highlights for us is the fact that this villa is so centrally located in St. Jean which now seems to be the heart of all the action. We can be in the middle of everything one minute and be totally private the next. The heated pool is a favorite of ours at the end of the day as we sip wine and watch the airport with all the planes landing and taking off (there are very few heated pools in St. Barths). The villa itself is so special. Wide open main house allows you to be outside all the time but with all the comforts of home such as a big screen TV with American satellite and WIFI. The main house is separated from the bedrooms and each bedroom is separated from each other which allows extreme privacy for couples. THEN, there are the showers. It is fabulous taking a shower with the top of the door open to the wonderful view that only this villa supplies. If you are lucky, you will be visited by one of the beautiful sugar birds. The house manager is great and keeps this property not only extremely clean but well maintained. She can answer any questions you might have. If you would ask us if there is any negative about this villa we would have to tell you NO. We will be back every year that the owners will allow us. Villa Azu is really a special place within PARADISE.

This villa is truly spectacular. The views were breath-taking and the service was incredible. MaryAnn was extremely accommodating and Stephanie was beyond amazing. We had the best time and we will definitely be coming back again! If anyone wants to escape to paradise this is the place to be!

We celebrated our 40th anniversay at Villa Azu last July (2010)...could not have asked for anything better! The property is amazing, very private and well situated overlooking St. Jean. All amenities such as pool, kitchen, wifi and cable TV were way beyond our expectations. We walked to the shops and restaurants in St Jean and found the rest of the very small island quite accessible by car...easy driving! All in all, we could not thave asked for more and would not thesitate to return to this property! We also hade the pleasure of leaving St Barts and spending a week at the sister property (Bellamare) in Anguilla...totally different yet equally as grand!
