    The house was spotless and comfortable. Located 2 blocks from the beach and a block off the main road. Mt. Pleasant and Charleston are easily accessible by car. We participated in the Cooper River Bridge 10K on April 6th which was lots of fun and took a carriage ride in down town Charleston. The home owner was wonderful to work with. Excellent and thorough information was provided via email before arrival and in a binder once we arrived. I highly recommend this house :)

    We spent seven nights at this wonderful home. We were so pleased upon entering that it was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, well equipped kitchen and the location was perfect just a short walk from the beach and very easy access to Charleston. Endless things to do from daily walks on the beach, biking on the Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island, visits to Charleston and exploring surrounding areas - we soon realized that repeat trips here are on our list of things to do. For us the best Italian restaurant in Mount Pleasant was Cuoco Pazzo - it is a must if you love authentic Italian - located on Johnnie Dobbs Blvd. If you're looking to eat Italian in Charleston, Trattoria Lucca is exceptional. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing, stress free home away from home when staying on the Isle of Palms. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly and very safe. We want to thank Ron for being so easy to work with in planning our stay. He also provides great information of things to do and see in the area - all was very helpful. We look forward to our return visits.

    The BEST vacation spot on Earth!! It was perfect for sleeping 4 adults as well as have 2 relatives who live in Mt. Pleasant join us for meals, movies, and board games around the dining room table. The house was spotless and comfortable, the kitchen better equipped than ours at home (we cooked our Thanksgiving dinner there!), and the washer / dryer were a plus. Located 2 short blocks from the beach but a block off the main road and a comfortable walk to the grocery store, this property is ideally situated. Mt. Pleasant and Charleston are easily accessible by car. We participated in the Wobble Gobble Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving Day which was lots of fun. The home owner was prompt and wonderful to work with. Excellent and thorough information was provided via email before arrival and in a binder once we arrived. Be sure to include several visits to Troubadour Coffee House (1317 Long Grove Dr Ste D; Mt. Pleasant, SC)...the beverages are delicious and the staff delightful! I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

    My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The big selling point is location and how quite the neighborhood is. Easy walk to a great beach. Easy access to some great restaurants on IOP and Sullivan's Island. For the money, this is a great bargain.

    My family and I just returned from a vacation at IOP, and I have to say that this home was PERFECT!!! It was so cozy and in a great location, only a hop, jump, and a skip away from the beach :) Needless to say, we spent our entire time at the beautiful beach. The home was a perfect size for us and it was so quiet, we never heard any outside noise which is great because our little one loves to sleep. We would definitely rent this home again. Aside from being a great house it is also very affordable. Ron was wonderful to work with and was very prompt in answering our questions. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, Ron!!!!

    This is such an adorable and cozy cottage for young families. Our two little girls, ages 7 and 4, have come to think of this as their own personal beach house (after only two consecutive stays mind you!) Quiet at night and close to the beach it's a great little place to call home away from home! The owners are more than attentive to your satisfaction!

    We could not have picked a better place to spend our family vacation. This little cottage has all you need and is just a short, enjoyable walk to the beach. Everything is well maintained and clean and the owners were very helpful with any questions we had. We hope to stay here again sometime and would highly recommend to anyone who is planning to visit IOP. We found a great little place to eat on Hwy 17 called SeeWee. Wonderful seafood and all the southern fixins. Thanks for a comfortable,cozy vacation!

    This rental was everything we wanted and needed. Very clean, well maintained. Owner was very helpful with information. The house was well furnished with dishes, etc. Kitchen in great shape. Very accessable to beach (great beaches for all ages, including surfers) and other recreation areas within one block. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who can live with two bedrooms, both with queen beds. No steps to climb. Easy driving distance to the center of Charleston. Shopping mall nearby. Charleston airport within 30 minutes of driving. Good golf courses nearby.

    We just spent spring break with our 2 teenage sons on Isle of Palms. The house is very clean and easy to maintain, the kitchen has everything you need. The neighborhood is very quite. The beach is very nice and only a 3 minute walk away - that is walking slow. There is a park ideal for smaller children 2 minutes the other way - they had an easter egg hunt when we were there. Everything is only a short distant way. There is a supermaket right on the island 3 min away, Mount Pleasant/Shem Creek is 15 minutes - with scenic drive through Sullivan's Island and Charleston only 30 min. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is that the property is entirely shaded - that is great during the summer months when its hot, coming from the north I crave light and it was a bit dark for me. Would rent again if in Charleston in the future.

    We really enjoyed our week at the cute little house on IOP. Being only a block to the beach was great, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The house is very well equipped, and the owner was helpful and accommodating throughout the process. I highly recommend you snap up the place if it is available during your vacation. Enjoy!

    Stayed here in winter. Warm, cozy, comfortable and very clean. Great location! Easy, safe walk to beach. Quiet street, no noise at all! Loved it! Great for a two couples or a family of four seeking a simple, fun getaway.

    What a great little cottage! The house is perfectly situated on a corner lot in a quiet neighborhood. The house was completely and adequately stocked with all the essentials for a weeks stay a the beach. Very clean and well maintained and the owners went well out of their way to make sure we had all the information necessary for an enjoyable and worry free stay. Our two little girls enjoyed the short walk in the evenings to the playground located a block from the house. Would highly recommend this property to couples or families with small children.

    Our family of four enjoyed a week long stay at this house. Everything we needed was provided, the house was very clean, the walk to the beach was easy, and we liked being in the neighborhood and near the rec department. It was convenient to bike to "downtown" and to the marina; in other words, the house is centrally located on the island. I recommend this house for folks who are wanting an affordable, comfortable way to stay at the IOP. Plus, Mr. Doyle is extremely easy to work with and accommodating.

    This house met our needs perfectly for a week long visit. The beach was so close and beautiful that we almost forgot to do any Charleston sightseeing! We enjoyed playing tennis every morning at the rec center down the street and couldn't get enough of the ocean and great weather.

    We had a great time with our two teen boys - a short walk to the beach and lighted tennis courts even closer. All the property and amenities were in top shape as advertised, and the cozy, corner lot house on a quiet street felt like home after just a few days. The owner went the second mile in answering questions about internet, restaurants, etc; returning security deposit; and seeking suggestions to make the house even better. We will certainly try to come back and stay longer next time.

    We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was very clean and had plenty of room for our family of four. The photos and the description are accurate. We appreciated the free wireless internet and the close proximity to the beach. It has a great screened in porch to store all the beach "stuff". The owners are very helpful and obviously care that you enjoy your time in their home. We also feel this is the best rental value on the isle of palms. We are already planning a return trip for next year! God bless!

    Our family felt like we were home away from home. We had plenty of room for the 4 of us. The living room with sectional couch was great for all of us to watch movies of a evening. Everything you need was there for a pleasant stay. The VERY short walk to the beach was so nice. The beach was very nice too esp. of a evening. You practically had it to yourself. The owners were very pleasant and seemed to really care about your stay. Isle of Palms is a great island to stay on. It is just a few miles to many attractions. We drove into Charleston a couple of times and it is a very charming city. There is so much to see and do in Charleston and many of the surrounding islands. Our favorite local place to eat was Acme Cantina. Great breakfast! Would recommend this home to anyone visiting in the area. If we ever get back to South Carolina we would stay there again.

    My family had a wonderful time staying in this Isle of Palms cottage! The location couldn't be better, literally a block from the beach, and the house itself is great! It is the perfect size for 4-6 guests, and the ammenities the house offers are perfect! It is on a corner lot, which is very nice, and it is very close to the recreation center, which is wonderful for kids and families. The renters are very prompt and pleasant to deal with, and they go above and beyond what one might expect. From beginning to end, my entire transaction was flawless. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking for the size and location this house has to offer.

    We had an amazing time in your house! It is the perfect location for anything you would want to do. The house was fully equipped with anything you would need for vacation (even a quesadilla maker!). We loved how short the walk was to the beach. Also having the rec center right behind us was awesome. Being able to use the cardio equipment, basketball courts and tennis courts for free at the recreation center such an added perk. We went into Charleston a few nights and fell in love with it. The whole area of Isle of Palms has so much to offer. We will definitely recommend your house to friends and family- and we hope to come back next year!
