Map & Owner's Profile

Why the Owner Chose MoabWe chose Moab because it is an incredibly beautiful and fun place to be. The red rock scenery, the huge Cottonwoods along the Colorado River (Moab is truly a desert oasis), the history, the quirky small town, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks...Moab is very unique and there's much to do if you enjoy the outdoors. We snapped up this unit as it was being built because of its downtown location. Moab zoning does not allow nightly rentals in most of downtown, and most condos of this size are far out of town.
The Unique Benefits at this CondoThe greatest benefit of our property is its location, right in downtown Moab. We are conveniently located to the shopping and restaurants of downtown, The Mill Creek bike path runs behind our place and we can begin hikes and mountain bike rides right from our place. The indoor pool with a large, grassy side yard is refreshing and fun for the kids.
Owner's Map of Moab
Our family loves coming to Moab to hike, bike and relax. We live in Colorado and it's just a few hours to come from the mountains into the high desert of Moab.

The condo is great, having all of the luxuries of home. This was our second stay (2010 trip being the first) and we will be back. Very well stocked with everything you'll need. Very quiet setting (never heard a single siren even though being located across the street from the hospital). Perfect bike training retreat!!!

This was a great home away from home. Very well equipped and comfortable. Nicely decorated with a relaxed feeling. The location is convenient to the town and to both Arches and Canyonlands. The back patio and hot tub are completely private and the tub was well used after long days of hiking. The facility was well maintained and clean including the garage which was a nice plus. For visitors that like to cook in I would recommend The Old Geezer butcher shop for the best meat you can buy and The Moon Flower Market for a taste of the past. I would certainly recommend this as a first class place to stay.

We've just returned from a fantastic stay in Moab. We go every year with other families and rent a condo for a long weekend. This condo had everything we needed and we plan to stay here again next year, which will be the first time we've repeated a location! The description was accurate and the owner was extremely helpful via email and we ended up using his recommendations for a ride and pizza even though we are very familiar with Moab. The photos were also accurate and the condo was clean and inviting. We loved the large garage to store all our bikes, kid strollers, and gear. The driveway was perfect for the little kids to practice their cycling skills. The location by the pool and near the dirt pump track was also perfect for the kids (and adults). Easy to walk into town on the sidewalk or nearby trails. Hot tub view was also pleasant with good view. Large kitchen table and plenty of living room furniture allowed us (6 adults and 4 young children) to eat and relax together. No complaints, which made our traditional trip that much better, thanks! Looking forward to next Spring, or maybe even this Fall.

This was a our first extended trip with a little toddler and this condo turned out to be the perfect place for us to stay. From our experience with many trips to Moab we realized that staying near town would be the best with kiddo. The condo was bigger than we expected. It was close enough to town for us to walk to breakfast, go shopping and even attend an impromptu yoga class. The hot tub was wonderful for the adults and the space was "child-proof" enough to let our daughter run around. For those who know what it is like to be home-bound after the child goes to sleep, this place couldn't have been any better. Close to all the National Parks and easy jeep drives (in the La Sal Mountains, Onion Creek and Potash Road). We could cook at the condo, go into town for a meal, or even have a pizza delivered. What a wonderful place to spend the Holiday season. A week just wasn't enough!

My husband and I stayed at the Portal View Condo in October, the place is so nice and the private hot tub was just what we needed after hiking. We returned to this condo for New Year's Eve with our friends and we all had the best time. We had two dogs and they were great in the enclosed patio area. We did all of our meals at the condo, the kitchen is huge and the dinning room seats 8. Love the kitchen since we all like to cook or just wanting to help out, the kitchen can accomadate lots of helping hands.

We loved this property! We are a family of 4 and were able to bring our 3 labs with us. There was plenty of room and the location was excellent. There is a great walking trail and a great mountain bike trail (Pipedream) just out the door. Also, we were able to bike to Slickrock from the condo! This location also allowed us to walk to Main Street for shopping and dining and we could easily go to the store when needed. We would highly recommend this property. We look forward to our next trip!

My husband and I spend 2 nights in the Portal View Condo for our 12 yr anniversary, and was greatly surprised at how big this condo is. Where the hot tub is located, it is very private which we loved. The front patio area is also very nice and the plants make the outside so inviting. Our only complaint would be that the hot tub could use some shade and the bathrooms could use more towels. This would be an ideal place for 3 couples or a large family. With the condo's location, we explored so many trails and Kel is great with his knowledge of the Moab area. We would stay here again and again. LOVED THIS CONDO.

This condo lived up to all of our expectations. It was very nice for the all eight us including three kids that stayed there. We also leased two other condos but found this to be the best of the three. It hadd very usable space including the back patio which we found very convenient. All together we had 24 people staying the three condos. I would recommend it very highly to anyone because of its cleanliness, decor, useability, and proximity to town.

Our first ever stay at a vrbo. if they are all like this we will be using this site again. We picked this location to be close to town. We were a group of 6 adults and this condo fit our needs perfectly. Enough space for all of us to have privacy yet the common room was great for our end of the day get togethers. Loved the patio. Hummingbirds came to visit every morning as I had my coffee outside. The back of the condo backed to a wooded area, so felt very private. The condo was clean, functional , comfortable. It had everything we needed. The hot tub/or pool was a wonderful plus after a long day of hiking. The neighborhood was quiet. The pictures are accurate but do not do the place justice. Kel was a wealth of information and we used several of the ideas. When we come back into Moab, we would love to stay here again.
