With wonderful views of Sterling Harbor and delightful sea breezes you'll feel relaxed the moment you arrive. We have our own private dock with access to a boat ramp next door all nestled on Sterling Harbor.
Cable TV, WI-FI, puzzels and board games. Norman E. Klipp Marine Park has a Life Guard on duty all summer long, is a block from the house. Bring your personal water craft or rent from Eagles Nest.
The Historic Village of Greenport is a wonderful for walking. Steeped in maritme history, wonderful antique, coffee and gift shops. Award winning resturants and a water front carousal. Greenport is in the heart of the North Fork Wine Country.
Enjoy swimming, fishing, boating right off our dock or a good book on the deck. Islands End Golf course is 2 miles down the road. Orient State Park is 8 miles east,as well as Orient Point/New London CT ferry. If Charter Fishing is in your plans, we know the captians to call. The 6th LARGEST water Park is just west if thrills and chills are on your list or a day at the aquarium to swim with the sharks!
At the end of the day enjoy a BBQ, as you watch the sun set over Sterling Harbor listening to the Ospray.

Year Purchased: 1966
This has been our family beach house since 1966. Growing up I spent my summers here creating the best memories a child could have and an adult could cherish. My husband and I chose to keep the house in the family, when we can't be at the house with our children, we rent it for others to enjoy. We know the area so very well, which allows us to give you personal attention. If you have a question, we are here to guide you to an unforgettable vacation.
Why the Owner Chose Greenport
We are located in a wonderful family friendly beach community. Water front property here is hard to come by. When we had the chance to buy my family beach house, we felt it was a once in a life time opportunity!
The Unique Benefits of this Ranch House
The setting is peaceful and full of life. As the morning sun rises, the light reflex's off the the sail boats in the harbor. With the house not right in the village where space is more city like you have plenty of room to spread out and still feel close at the same time. The historic village of Greenport is in walking distance or a bike ride away. You then can end your day watching the sun set over the harbor!

The Acker's came to see the house to rent for a 'weekend' and book it for a week! They now stay 10 days each year, I look forward to their arrival as they kick off my summer season! Although this year, will be our fall season. Living near by allows me to give personal attention to any question that may arise, such as 'where is your husband's favorite fishing spot?'.
