Year Purchased: 1990
My wife and I are Oaxaca natives. My wife has worked as a book keeper in a middle school for 30 years, I work as a tour guide, we love the area because of its wonderful climate, and active cultural life, particularly music, painting and textiles, also has a great cuisine which is a result of a mingle of Spanish and indigenous ones.
Why the Owner Chose Oaxaca
we were born in this great city, so we built this house for our family, now our children are independent therefore we decided to move to a smaller house within the same neighborhood.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The historic district of Oaxaca is just beautiful to walk and enjoy the colonial facades in bright colors, windows with hand wrought iron and is the area where most of the cultural activities take place like museums housed in old ex-convents, often pageants, good restaurants, religious processions, parades.
