A bit away from the road to Boissière, the hamlet of Vallet stands as witness to an interesting past:
This old manor house, dating from the late seventeenth century, full of charm and character, is situated along the Cher River, overlooking the river, the park and the surrounding hillside.
Facing the yard a " petit jardin de Curé "(a small French, medieval style, herb and vegetable garden) and a stone staircase that ascends to heaven ... supported by several niches, one has a well with its winch, the other a sink and a small oven that some people say it was used by the clergymen who have lived in Le Pavilion long ago to produce wafers...?
It is just one of the picturesque elements of this charming home.
Le Pavillon de Vallet offers three charming rooms (who can be rented separately). Each has its private bathroom with a WC. A hearty breakfast is served in the dining room or on the terrace in front of the house. Jams, yoghurts and breads are homemade, charcuterie and cheeses are also served.
No Hosts table, a tray with a kettle, bags of coffee and tea in all rooms.
If you do not need three rooms, ask us for information about renting just one of our beautiful rooms.

During 15 years a jurist in the banking sector, she became an antiquarian. Her husband, Christian, is still an active airline pilot. After 30 years of Parisian life, their four children became adults and they chose to settle down in Touraine.
